I am getting old. I remember these two when I was a young man. i miss the twang that was country and still is county. I am not certain what this stuff is they call country now.........
what a beautiful couple they made, and such great singers together, god bless them both, have you ever loved someone you didn"t like? I have and it aint" no fun but it happends
WOW, lucky you, wish I could say that. They were magic together on stage, to bad their marriage didn't work out, but the road is a hard life, takes it's toll on marriages.
It is sad that Tammy has gone, may her soul rest in peace, but the memory stays on in George Jones, he made a good partner in her life. Sad they never came together again.
Wow, what beautiful boots she's wearing, never see that kind any where. She sure knew how to dress and everything suited her to a T. Georgeous Lady !!!!
This was shortly after she married George Richey. I believe this video is from a tour they did, which included a show in London that George wrote in his book about. This could even be that show.
would love to know what he whispers to her almost every time they do a song he will whisper something! I had know my late husband for 50 yrs married only 30 when i lost him , the love in their eye's was what we had! Does my heart good to see that, but hurts my heart that they had to pass away to be together! RIP you are together now!
@fpngan never heard of a janet in their lives but something happened for Tammy to say that.....did you see Georges reaction when she asked him if he was happy. I feel so sad for them. George really loved her. He probably will for the rest of his life.
At the end she says "he stands there with Janet on his mind". Any idea who that may be folks? In his book he talks about dating a Linda before Nancy, but I don't recall a Janet. Tammy was married to George Ritchey at this time.
just saw and heard that janeet thing myself...I bet it is some one he was messing aaround with. Funny they (they being people who have it all, never realize what they have until they lost or loose it. I bet he wishes he kept closer to home ,,,,he did love her, and I feel she did him as well. They were so good togather, sad they coudln't of worked it out.
