So, I just discovered this song today, and I love it. I grew up listening to soul and jazz, and love how this one dares to really cross into that line. Great track. Oh, and what is she doing at 4 a.m. ? Apparently, thinking about her ex and wanting to get back together with him, according to the lyrics. I also recommend Midnight Pretenders by Tomoko Aran and Butterfly by Kimiko Kasai (who, fun fact, is Maya Rudolph's stepmom).
I am Japanese and have been to one of her concerts, but that was in the 1980s. I am seriously surprised because I never even imagined that Mr. Nicholas would talk about her.
