Great video Janson. Thanks for this. I've watched literally hundreds of videos over the last two months from lots of different amazon fba sellers and I think you are the only one I've seen go into detail on the expenses and book keeping side of things.
Great video Janson! This topic is something a lot of sellers overlook and end up wishing they got it right from the get go. Glad to see you're promoting these best practices!
As an Amazon seller I can vouch for Xero and Link My books. Worth every penny, took away all my stress. Great video, wish I had seen it prior to finding Link my books
if i boughted from a supplier using my personal bann acc and not business acc is it allowed .? ltd company 2 directors , can i add them in the expenses tracker if not from the business acc.?
Hi Janson Just catching up on your content Wish I saw this a year ago I have been using A2X for the last six months and as you know it’s very expensive I want to switch to link my books but not sure how the two will overlap in Quickbooks and effect my VAT calculations Any feedback would be great 👍
@Jason How do you manage your inventory ? Linkmybooks can not handle the inventory . and they can not integrate with Xero's Tracked inventory . So even you use Linkmybooks to pull the data to xero (value wise ) , you still need to find a way to track your inventory using a 3rd software . ?
You only need inventory balance every quarter / once per year, so you can just manually check it. I think LMB are bringing in inventory integration last time I spoke to them
Really useful info, thank you Does anyone know how to add a value to an item in a drop list? I know how to do drop lists, it’s just at 4:15 and 4:46 the top left adds the amount to the correct summary cost label? I need an Excel expert :/
Hi thanks so much for all the information. I've been checking UK accounting costs and I'm really astounded by the high prices for a small business. I am talking annual costs in an excess of $4, 000 GBP. Are those expected prices for a start-up business?
Lee Pritchard hi mate you can create another tab and record it there. However if you're already selling I'd advise getting Xero & linkmybooks as you'll need to get them anyway
Hi Jason, great video. As this is now over 18 months old all the prices for Link My Books have changed and I can't seem to get the discount, is this still working? Have you done a more recent one? Cheers
Hi janson, great video always, how much do you pay roughly for the accountant every year ? Do the accountant charge more if we do not use xero or other bookkeeping software?
@jason smith what are your thoughts about Flat rate VAT for Amazon sellers ? (Not as a tax advice just like to to hear your opinion about it ) Thank you mate
Janson I don't suppose there's a video explaining what jobs need doing in order of sequence? I've just started following you since I started watching Jonny. Wish you all the best and good look with your brand. Thanks again.
Anthony Bolton hi mate, I haven't but one tip for you is to look at the layout of an Amazon FBA course videos, they're usually in the right order. If you go here and look at the videos you'll get an idea of what order to do things in amazon-fba-smashers.teachable.com/p/the-amazon-fba-smashers-course
Thanks for such a rapid response Janson I'm trying to absorb as much info as possible before I go ahead and purchase a course. I'm so excited about the future and listening to your success story is an inspiration. I've never put anything less than 100% into anything I've done, so I've got high expectations for the future. Thanks again mate. 👍
Hi pal fantastic video! seen you on jonny B channel so just checking your channel out! Is linkmybooks similar to fetcher as in terms of the data it pulls from amazon and how it can give you a overview of sales ?

when you made review about johnny bradley FBA course and said it wasn't necessary, they why should we buy your course. if you all the info is on youtube like you said. i'm just curious
james watts mentorship is the main thing for me mate, and saving time. You can absolutely do Amazon FBA without doing a course, but it'll take longer to learn the ropes, you may miss some key info out if just doing it by yotuube, and you may make mistakes if you don't have someone to guide you. Those are the main areas I'd say! I don't regret buying Jonny's course one bit, even if I could have done it by myself.
@@JansonSmith i totally understand what you mean mate, im nit trying to cheeky here but a lot FBA are selling the course. how is your course any better than others? and £500 price bit high for a student like me if i do purchase can you guarantee the results. thanks
james watts I understand completely mate - I was in the same situation as you a year ago. Well it's up for you to decide whether it's worth it, I justify the price by the fact that I include jungle scout, my own developed tools, over 8 hours of tutorial videos and me as your mentor. A lot of courses out there don't include a mentor, and some of the ones that do it's debatable whether the mentor sells online. I'm very transparent and I promise that all of my students will have my support and guidance. It's impossible and also a bit silly for me to guarantee a students success, because it's down to their determination, business acumen etc. What I can guarantee is that if you have questions or are unsure of things, you'll have me to help, putting you in a better position than if you had nobody at all. Hope that helps mate, feel free to email me any questions you have!

I think makes less sense in retail as you can’t reclaim any vat on purchases and fees in that case
