- In this week’s Science of Supercross, we take a look into Monster Energy Kawasaki’s 2019 Race Team Rig. Learn what it takes to build a team rig, from concept and design to race ready!
Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, is the most competitive and highest-profile off-road motorcycle racing championship on the planet. Over 17 weeks between January through May and a million-dollar All-Star Race, Supercross attracts some of the largest and most impressive crowds inside the most recognizable and prestigious stadiums in North America to race in front of nearly one million live fans and broadcast to millions more worldwide. The track takes all the exciting obstacles of outdoor riding-jumps, turns, and bumps-amplifies them, and puts them in easy view of spectators.
Founded in America and sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) in 1974, Supercross is currently co-sanctioned by the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM), the official global governing body for motorcycle racing, thus making it a formal World Championship.

Great stuff. Now Kawasaki has just one thing to do: win a title.
Cool to see parts of the sport like this. As much as I miss people just running out of a sprinter van, I do want the everyday bystander to see that thing, research it, get involved in the sport, and keep this shit growing. Keep making this bigger and better. The local tracks aren't as full as they used to be.
I’ve seen local 65 kids at the track with pretty much the same set up.

I always wondered how much one of those trailers cost as well. I think their last truck was about 5 years old, I think they trade them in when they hit a certain amount of miles. At least thats how the Nascar trucks are

After a certain amount of miles they switch them. The old one was over 5 years old.

That's a serious waste of money and time for Motocross Racing I love Motocross Racing Supercross racing but I don't understand why they would need that truck
It's a marketing play! Just look at all the others e.g Honda, Yamaha etc
You should check out the road racing bikes rigs then. These a multimillion dollar companies, those trucks are their billboards
That truck is chump change to them and its huge for advertisement when it travels across the country.
They also switch out the trucks after a certain amount of miles. The old one is over 5 years old and travels a lot year round.
