You don't need the monster truck all you need is the the pickup truck and some lobby skill you can position the pickup truck just right to jump in
He said the monster truck would be easier not that you need it..

No you need to defeat the sandbox master and kill many enemies
the sand thingy is like tutorial u gotta beat it then u will be teleported to lobby
