    The Audio is Superb Chris. For anyone who doesn't quite agree just take a look at the background.
    The Trees are waving in a fairly strong breeze yet the Audio is Crisp and Clear. The Video looks great as well.
    At times you can hear Chris' Voice sounding a bit tinny. Realize that this is the Digital Components cancelling wind noise as best as it can.
    Overall the Audio has improved to a Tremendous Degree. The Video (lighting, angle, backgrounds, pics, etc.) got gooder too. :D

    Hi Chris, I’ve been watching you for over 3 years, even before I bought my new gold detector. I’ve learnt a lot from you and I’ve just ordered your book. Some live digs or real time filming your detecting would really increase your following and views. Ps. I’ve been making videos for almost 12 years. Andy.

    Lidar data now publically available will help find old workings, trails, wagon roads and other man made disturbances of land surfaces. Great gold finds in this video that appear to not have traveled very far from the source. Good hunting.....

      Raw data is easily available, but it needs to be processed to be useful and really only the high resolution data is helpful. The high resolution data is only available for some locations.

    As Jeff Williams says you have to put boots on the ground but way before that you need to do your homework.
    Chris have you seen the lidar technology on drones they use for prospecting? That is something that really interests me. We have come a long way since the 1800's

    As a STEM Person I know that Content is Vastly More Important than Format.
    However as a Content Creator One needs to Communicate to Semi-Stemmers as well as Science Folks.
    Improving the Quality of the Format Allows the Creator to Deliver the Content to More People with Greater Effect.
    I believe there has been a Sudden Format Improvement, and the Content is Wonderfully Educational as always.

    Chris, Those three nuggets you showed are nice finds but if I wanted to backtrack it to a possible source, Is it safe to say the wire structure and the Iron oxide together indicate it came out of laterites and not quartz or Calcium ?

    • @ChrisRalph
      @ChrisRalph  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not laterite. This is a region where there is no laterite present anywhere within hundreds of miles. They are just in slope soils and debris eroding off the local hills. They come from a shear zone in the local rocks which have some quartz.

    It would be nice if you would do some videos for those of us that are not stuck in the elementary part of prospecting. Look to me to be a plug for poor miners, Chris and it appears to be more about scrap gold or pawnshop stuff. I've been prospecting for gold for over 40 years and I thought that your advice of doing research first before you leave for the field and looking for old timers workings in the field is probably some of the best advice one could get for a gold prospecting trip. In my experience you are trying to educate a large base of prospectors with a wide variety of skills. I suppose if someone needed more details they could read your book. No one and i repeat no one understands everything there is to know about gold prospecting. Anyways, Thanks for your efforts!
