I see a lot of comments on here saying that she's one of the best Australians ever had. I'm gonna be honest with you man. I honestly feel like this girl is one of the best singers. The world is ever seen how flawless her runs are have beautiful each and every note is Flowers trained or not. This girl is outstanding one of the best I've ever heard it's not the best.
She is LEGITIMATELY one of the best singers to come off of the Voice. Her story is amazing, but she is one of the most humble contestants I've ever seen on this show.
I love watching auditions from The Voice from around the world because there are some really fantastic voices out there that you would never get to hear otherwise.
I've watched her audition so many times and still can't help but let the tears roll. A beautiful lady with a beautiful voice and I hope she will keep the amazing singing going for a long time.
She was a worship leader at Hillsong Church; also a singing teacher as I recall. She is the best of the best. Gives me chills, for sure. She is definitely blessed.
She’s a member & leader of the Hillsong Church which is a cult, they con people out of their money & the son covered up sexual abuse committed by his father over decades. It’s shameful that she won regardless of her singing ability.
Bella is one of the best singets world wide, take some time to watch her whole journey its unbelievably good. She teaches singing in her church. She won the voice, and rightly so, she sings the prayer at the end with Guy Sebastian, that is mind blowing she makes me cry.
She chose Guy Sebastian as her coach...and through the show we found out just what a tragic journey she has been on. The two girls on the side (one jumping up & down) are her sisters who Bella is rearing by herself...their mother left them and her Father is in jail. But Bella is being both parents to them. Guy was such a good choice as he mentored her with kindness and love. I agree with others here who suggested you watch their duet of The Prayer. Loved your summary of her vocals Ken. Waiving from Australia
Bella's amazing! From that audition I knew she would go on to win 'The Voice Australia'. She just had that voice! I get goosebumps every time I watch her videos. Then to hear both Guy and Bella sing their duet of 'The Prayer' O...M...G!! You just gotta watch it over and over! I was so happy Guy still took Bella on tour with him when he said on The Voice he would love to have her tour with him. Waiving from Adelaide, South Australia 🇦🇺
You are completely right, she’s such a a pure person inside and you can tell that when she sings. Guy literally comments on that after her second performance
I think that she is music teacher for kids, and what you said about genuine person, it is what we see in teachers or music teachers, happinnes, most teachers are happy doing what they love to do, anyhow, what the judges heard at first was her pitch and lovely tune, at least is what I heard as well, and when we used to hear many singers, like these show, this is easy to compare when a person is good enough or genuine!
Yeah, this particular season was insane. The Australian Voice is normally quite good but this one season was totally mental. She was one of 3 singers that seemed like surefire winners. Arlo Sims was in the same series and he was also incredible. Oh, and her story is she's a vocal coach, lol. She grew up singing in church I believe. Not surprised she is technically correct.
Bella and Guy’s duet of The Prayer is short but fantastic. If you’re looking for another amazing female voice, check out Karise Eden’s audition for The Voice Australia 2012. She blew everyone away with her version of It’s a man’s world. Her voice is totally different from Bella’s. Karise was a really sweet 19 year old living in foster care and busking on the streets when she auditioned for the show. She also won that year.
Great reaction and analysis! I heartily agree with what you said about seeing her as a person through her singing and that it's so attractive to the listener when the artist is genuine and authentic. Bella definitely has these qualities from the time I saw her on The Voice - humble, gracious and kind. Being mentored by Guy was a match made in heaven.❤
I want to subscribe but knowing that he's not a The Voice fan or watcher disappoints me and that keeps me from subscribing. Seriously? You haven't even heard of The Voice? That's the best singing competition ever.
That was a very nice reaction to a beautiful song! There's a Scottish band called We Were Promised Jetpacks that I haven't seen many react to and the singer/guitar player has quite a few solo performances on TH-cam where you can really hear his voice. Would love to see what you think. My personal favorite is Pear Tree.
The four in the chairs are competing with each other coaches. In the "blind" auditions, they turn if they like the music performance, without being influenced by "looks". In several "blind" auditions, coaches build their teams. As all four turn, there is a 1 in 4 chance that the candidate picks you as a coach. The "blocked" is like a trump card that each coach can use once to block another coach out of who the candidate can choose from. Once the teams are complete, there are different rounds of battles, semifinals and a grand final. The format is run in many countries around the world, this being Australia. Why did they turn early? They don't explain that in the episode. I would say that it must be her pure voice and great control when singing mp, rather than belching out some ffff. That is extremely rare. There's the quality of an almost vulnerable little girl in her voice, pure and innocent. While you might have waited a bit, turning early can be a signal to a candidate and a reason to choose that coach. Another thing is that early on they still need to build a team and over the season will send almost all of them home. I believe when a coach lets go off a candidate, that another coach can take over that candidate but guess how many times is limited. The biggest problem in these shows is how candidates are "produced". They often end up in a zone that is too far from their comfort zone and does not show case their best qualities. With the vocal range of Bella, you could argue that this quality never came back on the road to winning the grand final. As to her perfectly executed runs that she uses to make a song "hers", I think they are predictable and boring. She has so much quality that she can make any song "hers" in a different, more musical way. But that needs a producer with a better vision.
It's weird that a vocal coach wouldn't watch a show or even know the premise of a global phenomenon like The Voice that showcases so many different kind of voices.
Hey Ken, I have been looking for a vocal coach to react to Cody Johnson I think his voice is amazing and I am always impressed at all the ways he is able to manipulate it and use it in different ways.
I love your reactions! Saw your reaction to TOOL’s Pneuma and was hooked! Just curious if you’ve reacted to their reimagined No Quarter from Led Zeppelin??? Just when you think you’ve found the end of the universe within their version, a whole new universe reveals itself lol
Surprised you don't know the show! So yes, they start not seeing the singer - hence "The Voice". The "Blocked" you saw was added after the first few seasons and allows a judge to "block" another judge from being chosen by the talent/turning their chair if done before the "blocked judge" has already hit their button.
Very proud to say that she is Australian. She is a Hillsong church singer. Her name is Bella Taylor Smith and you need to hear her sing 'how great thou art'.
Technically, all vocal coaches or experts I.e singer might have universal standards. But to have kinda particular favor of voice, is another thing. One might have an excellent vocal technique, but having such angelic voice based on self interpretation of the lyrics is exceptional!
This video is from The Voice Australia in 2021. Guy Sabastian, the guy in the blue jacket, won "Australian Idol" in the first season a little over ten years ago, and the gal in the pink dress was the runner up on Australian Idol in their third season, and of course Keith Urban. Guy is now one of the most successful recording artist in the world! You really need to get out more, I have seen some of the best singers on this planet from these shows and The Voice Australia is in my top two with The voice UK right up there with it and one of their judges being Sir Tom Jones. You really need to start paying attention, your missing so much, I really don't see how you can do a good job because your missing one of the best resources of talent that is available on the planet! That's why reaction videos are so important, they show folks what's out there and available for folks to be exposed to music and artist! You should watch this total video because it chronicles Bella's journey to the point to where she wins the show! Watch and you'll understand how the show works basically plus Bella is so amazing it's beyond belief!
It's not a "game show". The Voice is a singing competition based on the quality of a person's.. VOICE. Check it out for yourself the competitions have been going on for many years around the globe.
Morrisette has a new wish bus performance. Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw. Check it out since we will never get to Spiritbox Rule of Nines (studio one take) I'll take some Morrisette for now. Thanks. You da man.
Please react to live performances of famous Indian Singer Sonu Nigam. You will be amazed by his vocal skills. He is also known as Lord of Chords, He takes Live performances to another level. Eagerly waiting for this reaction.
The coaches compete towards eachother to win the voice. That means they are all fighting over getting the best contestants in their own team. If another coach is evil enough to block you it means that the contestant can't chose you so you automaticly lost the chance to get the singer in your team.
bella is one of many great australian voices, try katie noonan singing to the graduates at the australian institute of music, they wish they could sing like her, th-cam.com/video/Jw-ZG7t-b78/w-d-xo.html
React to Gina Miles' cover of Wicked Game if you can. She's a current contestant on The Voice, and she is my new favorite singer along with Chris Cornell and Angelina Jordan. She's magical. PLEEEASE give it a listen!
Hello I just found your channel and I love it. Subbed. Please check out Blackbird by Alter Bridge. It’s rock/metal but his voice is so moving it really stirs the emotions. Very unique
Don’t know the format to request , but if you don’t have Leo from frogs leap studios on your radar . You might want to . Your trend of metal fits right in . th-cam.com/video/MH9FyLsfDzw/w-d-xo.html
The only thing I dont really like from the performance is that, there were runs and things like that, that were more impressive than necessary. I mean I get she had to arrange it that way because of the nature of the show, she had to show her range, he capabilities, potential and all that.

She is best singer in the world!

How come she's not a big show bis artist
She is is better than 99% of singers out there but unfortunately the market hasn't supported her

“Sweet Dingo Donuts” may be the best reaction I’ve heard to the Voice Australia 😂😂😂

Australia rarely misses. Some unreal voices hidden down under!!
I so enjoyed Siki Jo Ann's audition from South Africa 🇿🇦 . Must watch
@@bilkees8151 Yes, she was fantastic! I also really loved Chezelle Shahadat and Shane Sonkind.
I've watched her audition so many times and still can't help but let the tears roll. A beautiful lady with a beautiful voice and I hope she will keep the amazing singing going for a long time.

So she's a heretic
She’s a member & leader of the Hillsong Church which is a cult, they con people out of their money & the son covered up sexual abuse committed by his father over decades. It’s shameful that she won regardless of her singing ability.
Hillsong church ? The one on the news ?

She makes it sound effortless
Love how your face changed from serious to smiling . No words needed to describe how good she is 👏
Bella is just pure joy - she sings from her heart and seriously didn't realise back then just how good she is... we love her....
You are completely right, she’s such a a pure person inside and you can tell that when she sings. Guy literally comments on that after her second performance
I hope you went through and watched her whole journey as it was a beautiful journey. Her take on Christinas "the voice with in" was breathtaking
This lady right here is a natural, her voice is beyond good, I can't really listen to her sing all day.
her voice gives me chills
You should definitely check out her duet with Guy. It is amazeballs!
Yes!!!!!!! Second this! So amazing

She's really very good, because before she audition, she's already a vocal coach, that's why she has the technique.

Bella is a singing teacher and sang in church!
I think they knew her voice was good immediately
They heard the quiet play of her voice
It's weird that a vocal coach wouldn't watch a show or even know the premise of a global phenomenon like The Voice that showcases so many different kind of voices.
First person to turn around was when she sang the part of “out in the darkness” you hear her drop the note

Gary Moore - still got the blues.. reaction. Thanks you very much.
The two judges turned around when Bella sang with /u/ vowels because of music dynamics, I guessed.
