I’m an American and I believe with her speaking in the British accent cuz she was probably born or raised there gave her an edge over her peers in terms of communication. With her having confidence also helped her to be appointed as HM. I believe sometimes, when you are fluent in English and have a foreign accent, Ghanaians really love that.
Pope, that’s not the case. With the accent you talking about I feel like you trying to say we do not have excellent English speakers out there. For me personally, I do not care about the accent but rather the qualities once have in him/her. So I believe she wasn’t chosen because of the tone of how she speaks. If you have the accent and do not have the quality what are you ?
