Holy! Demo tape - surprisingly good sound for a demo. This is really special. Michael Flexig I have never heard sing Winds of War. You can really the keys. I love the DX-7, the wind at the beginning, all the little differences in the effects and keyboards. Interesting. Thank you for sharing with us mega fans.

I believe this is the demo tape. I read a short list in some rock mag/paper...Soldiers of grace demo. Never heard a thing until the Symphonic Legends release. That revealed in a line soldiers of grace....that this might be a finished part of that demo.

Thanks for this song! Never heard. Do you have any idea where can I find that demo? Maybe you can give me more information on it - year, full name, etc? And maybe you you have seen anywhere lyrics of Winds of War? Couldn't find it in Google. I like this song, but my voice English is much worse than my Russian...

To find a demo is not easy because it's not released. I did get my copy from the recording engineer many years ago. I think his name was Ralf Winter. The year should be 86 or so if I remember right. It was meant as a follow up on Beyond the astral skies. You can find a live recording of Winds of War with Brussels Symphonic orchestra. if you search. The lyrics can you find in the album Prologue to the symphonic Legends.

@@ekbergpeter6987 Thanks for your response. A year have passed and still no new comments here. That's strange, I have couple of friends who liked this version very much.

Hi Richard. It was 4 songs on the demo. Amadeus, Winds of war, Dying to be born and Starlight. I think Winds of war and Starlight are released on The Prologue album in slightly different versions. Amadeus is released on some compilation album. Dying to be born never released unfortunately, since it is a very nice song.
