Physical sim is good , if you're phone is broken , fall in water...yoi can remove sim and put in other phone...any old phone you have ...wirh esim , you don't have that physical sim then you cant use instantly

E Sim is just like CDMA phone , which introduced by reliance earlier.
mujhe lag raha hai mein koi 1 saal purana video dekh raha hoon. jo jo baatein aap bol rahe ho wo sab to already lagu hai bina fingerprint aadhar verify ke sim to milta hi nai. 90 days ke baad sim band ho jata hai.
With No predefined parameters for Cyber Security in our Country I believe mass e- sims would make things more complicated ( in terms of viruses, hacking, e-swap etc)

पहले सिम चालू रखने के लिए मिनिमम रीचार्ज था फिर 99 हुआ अब 150 के उपर कर दिया अब उसको यूज नहीं किया तो बैंक में और आधार में गैस कंपनी में वही सिम लगाया हुआ है उसकाे ब्लॉक कर देंगे
If a person's number is linked to the bank or UPI Aadhar card and is not recharged for 90 days or someone else gets that number then it will be very bad or it can even be a fraud, hence this is the worst rule.
If your number is linked with Aadhar card and you lost that sim you can apply for new sim with same number it will automatically deactivate lost sim.
155 rupees to keep your sim active 😢 is a bad rule.

Every sim shall be provided with biomatric verification with aadhar data base. Every sim vendor shall have a biomatric verification instrument connected with aadhar data base. No forms, no photograph, no I'd proof, and no waiting time. If verified with aadhar data base, why can't a phone sim be activated immediately?
How will a tourist operate a mobile phone in India? I am OCI citizen of India and visit India often. My UK telecom operator charges me £1.50 per text and approx.£3 per min for voice calls. I use a relations SIM to use WhatsApp to make calls to UK. Is there any way for me to operate a cellphone in India? For using Google maps etc.

Logon ke liye ruls to lagu ho gaye par internet Jo slow chalta hai uspe sarkar telicom companies pe jurmana kyon nahi karti.
The rule states "The government also informed that a new mobile number can only be allocated to a customer after 90 days of it being disconnected by the previous user." It doesnt say that sim will be disco nected by telecom provider automatically if not used within 90 days. What is the meaning of disconnected should be specified clearly in this rule. Does it mean sim is active but there is no incoming or outgoing call and sms incoming or outgoing for 90 days or does it mean the sim is not used in any mobile phone for 90 days. Both these scenarios will cause chaos for NRIs and is prone to more scams.

Nop, transferring e-sim is very simple, you just have to transfer e-sim modules to different phone and it works within 1 minute.

The only rule that is against the customer is the 90 day rule. Government should understand that the companies have increased the minimum recharge plan by 10x. Many can't spend that on a secondary sim.

1. what about recharge packages? Example we have jio fiber or Airtel fiber connection and a family have 4 members and then we are forced to pay min. 155 monthly just to keep our sim card activated, because we only have data packs while we don't even need that. Yes, we only need sim for emergency calls or may be when we are outside so there is no choice for person to do a small recharge which will give you some calling minutes.
2. what about network? There are many people who can't afford buying expensive mobiles but now they will be forced to buy a 5G phone similar way was forced to buy a 4g phone and later they will be forced to buy 6g or 7g... and they also don't need internet, they just need it for calling but they will be forced to pay min. 160 or 200 per month just for calling..
and we have only 3 to 4 providers so we don't have any option for people who don't even want to use internet or can't afford such things..

Probably, e SIM is a software for uploading to avoid new purchases. Also the telecom regulator must restrict number of SIMS as two in place of 9. There should not be the need to have SIM nonactive for longer period. Now there are no Roaming charges in view of Whats app call facility.

🤣 Verification ke liye 500 lete hai kuch Officers. Maine bhi last year police verification liya tha emergency ke liye kyun ki mujhe gaon se Shillong shift hona tha padhai ke liye aur rent ke liye verification liya tha.
