If govt feels that iex or power exchange is charging higher they can intervene directly on charges. Why to take responsibility and additional headache.

Which are charging 100/200/300 Rs per month but after abolishing the same system now DTH is used and many DTH companies are charging 500 Rs to 700 Rs. Due to price discovery it has negatively impacted the customer only. Same case happened with LPG cylinder as it will be 400 Rs per cylinder to 1100 Rs per cylinder within the 6 to 7 years. There is also major change for policy and subsidised and non subsidised LPG impacted the other common people. Hence Govt is gaining, companies making profit but retailers are paying price. Will it be the same faith for IEX. If it is the same then retailers are punished for holding the stock.
I am in the favour of this business because if the govt pass the new regulation and power price will be same for all the exchange than according to indian mentality we indian want best things at cheap price and iex provide better platform than there opponents and price will be same for all the energy platform, then volume may increase in IEX platform. My 2 cents. If Power Exchange markets increase 10X in next 10 years but IEX market share drops to 35-40%. Still it would be 5X compared to present rates and profit. Maybe P/E will be more reasonable around 25 but still 3-4X more profits from current levels.
