He became a man so he had to fulfill all Righteousness.. He set the laws n he had to obey them.. Jesus never joked with his prayer life..

Jesus Christ our Lord was the last sacrifice on the last Altar and anything else is heresy. Christ now lives inside of us. No wonder this preacher could only quote scriptures from the old Covenant.
What about Romans 12:1-2 being a living sacrifice, changing your mind and not confirm to this world. It sounds like He is preaching on that scripture. The problem is that this is not the whole sermo but part of it.
True Jesus is the last alter to be raised for men by God. Before the dispensation of the grace of God men raised their own alters. And therefore in the name of Jesus our raised alter we speek things, conquer territories.
