As I can explain it, it shifts form basically depending on how you use it (Especially whenever Red Mist activates her E.G.O. mode, Mimicry starts shifting to spear, scythe, etc. whenever she uses said attack). The sword itself is really powerful by default, yet only strong by both will and physique are able to use it, let alone look at it
The crowbar is reasonable, because.. The man that used it goes without saying they have their own freedom, their freeman, Gordon, freeman’s crowbar, is what gives it a higher up, only at its 0.01% power.

The knife you used wasn’t the one. Real knife isn’t the undertale one we see. Chara’s knife is. (Priv weapon). It will also get insanly OP when you just slaughter a crap load of things (like dummies).
