    How do you know if it's real gold? I want to buy one but I am scared of getting scammed .. I bought a sterling silver one which should be coming tomorrow and I don't even know if that's real but it was cheap

      Jacoje has a ton of jewelry reviews from customers who had their gold tested over the years. I did as well. Now I don’t need to because you can kind of tell based off feel and gram weights

    I just got my 5mm/20in "classic" today! I freakin love it. I wanted something a little shorter so it would be visible with a couple shirt buttons open. 20" is perfect for that look.

    Do you have any experience with the Jacoje links? I was in between a jacoje link and a heavy link and went with a jacoje link because I liked the round-er links, but I haven’t heard you talk about it and I don’t feel like I’ve heard many people talk about them. I got the 14k yellow 3.5mm 22 inch, I’m a tall (5’10”) muscularly built woman, so honestly 22 inches fits me just a little looser than it fits you. Just curious what your opinion is on them and if you’ve ever had one! :)

    • @davidbryce1985
      @davidbryce1985  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t have any but I got one for my wife and I think it’s very nice. It is definitely more rounded than the heavy link being more rectangular. Jacoje links are still high quality and very nice. I do prefer the longer link which is why I went heavy link. Eventually I may get a jacoje link

    • @davidbryce1985

      The new ones have a slightly thicker side profile and thicker and tighter links. It's not a huge difference but it's still different. The polish on the new ones with the color gold is a little bit better too. Lastly, the diamond cuts on the new ones are more consistent and better.

    So I bought the 4.5mm 24in Figaro from saints gold and it’s exactly what I wanted. My only thing is there’s a little curve in the chain that makes it not sit flat and hang straight. Is that normal for a flat curb chain especially the Figaro?

    • @davidbryce1985
      @davidbryce1985  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeah with the weight of them and the fact that most of them are machine made, they won't hang straight. the hang straight test is really meant for hand made miami cubans, and even then, it's been exaggerated a lot

      It was good quality but the weight and mm width were less than advertised. But the style of the figaro itself was nice so I'd say it's along the lines of a classic figaro. 4.5 is a great size for the figaro. For me the figaro works at any size. My son has a 2mm and it still works.
