your last statements is why i like your channel. you just go though the wandering, with realistic expectations. it is relatable. you find the fun along the way.
OMG it’s Saint Seiya!!! It was my favorite childhood anime. Rion , if you have not seen it, you have to. I still have some of the original models with their original boxes 😁
Yes, some of us will be visiting from "some super cold European country" aka Finland in January 😂 My boyfriend and I are looking forward to going somewhere where it will be warmer in the winter, haha. It's already -10°C here and it will get colder... I've been watching your videos for a few years now, so I'm hoping we'll see you in the streets of Osaka or Tokyo 😊
Surprisingly, over crowded streets. Though, I enjoyed walking with you to see these new and interesting Anime characters in Akibahara.😊 Can't take my eyes off at your yummy Italian pizza and Sangria wine!😂 A golden duck home decor perhaps, not a real one?😅 The Tokyo night scene was so peaceful and beautiful with the litted Skytree, Asahi foam, and the bright half moon as its background.Stay warm.

Oh, how nice I woke up abruptly because of a thunder storm and while checking You Tube I found your new video - just in time at the very beginning. Yes, everywhere in Tokyo is more or less crowded now. Obviously the tourists prefer cooler Japan weather. The anime exhibition was interesting for me although I do not know much respectively. Recently I read somwhere that a lot of them are based on the Japanese reach tradition of ghosts and spirits. The exhibited items, some of them pritty expensive, seemed to be well made. Your meal this time a combination of Italian ad Spanish (Sangria - wine plus various fruits) elements looked yammy, but as far as I remember most of Italien pizzas have more ingredients. Your' s was more a simple one but pritty large, indeed. The sunset at Ueno park was so romantic which made a kind of an introduction into your night stroll which is always so special. You were lucky enough to bump into matsuri parade even twice, which was fun the watch. The night atmosphere of the Sanso-ji is always nice to see, as well as the Sumino river side with the well lighted Tokyo Tree as a background. I hope that the heat pack helped you not to get cold in such a cool and windy day. Stay safe and healthy. Let's keep on walking together! GAOO!
Hi Rion, my fiancee and I are going to Japan in late December and part of early-January, so maybe we will Gao to you! we love watching your videos when we eat. Gaooo let's keep walking and watching xD
Hi Rion-san, thank you for walking and showing us Akihabara and Ueno! I was there a few days ago and Akihabara really does have a cool vibe! 🎉 Btw, are you coming back to Osaka soon? Love your uploads! Gaooo ❤
We'll go to Japan for 2 weeks in July with 2 sons, 19 and 16 years old. Where should we stay Rion? It's our first time to Japan. So far our plan is Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Shirakawa Go. Thank you 😊
you should definitely watch saint seiya, its an old school classic (one of the good ones), i also have at least 20 old school saint seiya figures some on its original package and the rest displayed. Nowadays they go for a higher price but i don't intend to sell them ever 😊😊
that red/white building was closed when i went there in may. 👀 .. i also recommend those that are seeking pokemon plushies to go to the used stores. you will find all the OG pokemon.
the gachapon that i am looking for is taiko no tatsujin, i saw one in shinjuku near the don ki, and one at narita airport. the ones at narita airport are big, but i was out of money and could only afford one ;-;
Rion, thanks for the update! My first trip to Akihabara was in January, 1988. When I visited there, one of the big ticket items was the 35 inch TV. Yes, the original box type TV. (Think they called it direct view TV or something like that. In 1988, that was a big thing. Take care everyone and happy Thanksgiving.
The view at 28:10 of the temple lit up at night was, for me, a highlight of the video. I had not seen the temple lit at night before, so it was a great and welcome surprise, and you filmed it beautifully. The matsuri festival procession, colorful floats and Taiko Drums were sugoi. I enjoy the spontaneous nature of your walks. They're always an adventure. Arigatougozaimasu, Rion, for brightening my day with your video. 👍
5:31 Woo! So glad Rion included the Tokusatsu section of the Tamashii event. Kamen Rider and Ultraman are one of the main reasons I love Japanese pop culture and have traveled over there to see!
Hi, love your videos, you have a very special character, may I suggest that you do not emphasis too much at the end of each sententence, after the whole video, my ear and head hurts being a senior, can just talk more normal be nice.
Nice to see "Book Off" is still alive despite the years.///Maybe I was in the wrong part of Akiba because there weren't any anime buildings like these in 2009. The streets were very quiet and quite empty. There were some small anime shops.
I feel like you would be such a fantastic dog dad one day, when you’re able to have one! Also, small dogs can be just like big dogs if you train them/treat them the same as a big dog! I have a horse farm with several chihuahuas, a black lab, and a pit bull. I treat them all the same, so they all act the same haha! They just love to explore outside and cuddle inside. They’re all super smart and very good listeners ❤️ So if a small dog is more practical for you one day, you might be surprised how great they are! My husband used to only have big dogs, and now he LOVES chihuahuas too. They love him back so much (I’m kind of jealous 😂❤️)! For now, I know you will be an amazing dog uncle! Haha ❤
I'm coming to Japan with my family after Christmas. Your videos are great, they are helping me to plan our itinerary, and figure out what clothes to pack. 😁
I'm in Tokyo right now for the first time since 2018. So glad to virtual travel through your videos and finally getting to come in real life. I am kind of proud of myself to say I am now somewhat familiar with the super complicated metro/JR lines. 😂 Cheers Rion!!
This was recorded the day after my husband and I left Japan and it makes me happy and sad watching because I miss Japan so much already. I feel like I get more of a culture shock coming back to the states than arriving in Japan. 😅 I'm also now so incredibly jealous of all the delicious food you get to eat because the food there is on another level. I appreciate your videos and will use it to cope till next time we can visit.😂❤
Who else wants to see Rion traveling on a motorcycle back again!? 🤘
🤣
Very beautiful edit bro❤
Gachapon - what do people do with the trinkets? There are so many machines, everywhere. Do you throw them away after a few months, or keep them?
Is Autumn over already??
First. Hi rion
👍👍👍
Did everyone bling the light jacket?
I need a T-shirt saying “maybe next time” and “let’s keep walking” 😂
If you don’t mind me asking how old are you?
Rion - the nicest "weird guy" on TH-cam 😂
😂👍
your last statements is why i like your channel. you just go though the wandering, with realistic expectations. it is relatable. you find the fun along the way.
Nice ending with Tokyo Skytree and golden "something" 🤣

Your view at 23:00 on this late autumn day at sunset in Ueno park was beautiful. I hope to visit the park one day. 👍🇯🇵

Not a good pizza as I see, French wine and Spanish sangria. Next summer I'll try to avoid this place! ^_^
Cheers from Italy
