That is a spunker of a mini van your building there chap bloody beautiful absolutely love it , I’m kinda hoping I can build one myself one day your certainly inspiring me so thanks for that 👍
He knows his stuff, like you I wouldn’t know where to start, good job
Really is coming together now, liking the colour of the seats, suits it. Electrics scare me so I'd have to have someone like Steve to do mine when I needed them doing.
Steve is such a clever guy and i would never have done this in the time he did
@@classicminidetails8887 Me either, I'd have been stood scratching my bald head til it bled 😁
Sorry I've never laughed out loud so loudly when Alex said about burning his leg previously!!! Lol
Great video...a lorra lafs lol, great entertainment. And nice to see other TH-camrs helping ya out...well apart from the broken bits 🤔
Changing oil in a mini is bad enough, but that original front air intake OMG
i'm going with the nice new wavy grill on my van !
That heater switch wire looks a little light? Are you sure it’s OK? Looking really good 👍
I was supprised by how small it was... It comes with the heater so i am guessing its rated for the fan. I can't remember how much power it draws but i know its considerably less than standard heaters
Amazing van. At 20:06 it looks like R/H sidelight on but L/H headlight on full. I might be mistaken but worth checking.
I think you two would make a nice couple ,as you seem to get on so well ,lol
youtr indicators were a bit slow individually. Is the flasher unit right? Great video toony as always
Alex looking amazing mate, as for Steve he knows he's stuff, well done 👍👍
NUTS - available from ACCU - 10-32 UNF serrated flanged hexagon nuts (DIN 6923) - A2 Stainless (code HSN-10-32-A2) . I bought these for my clubbie estate and they fit both front and rear lights - should be same on the van rear lights. pack of 25 was just over a fiver.
Might Help? it may be too late...
Euan thanks alot mate! I have managed to get some but i appreciate your help its greatly appreciated
Where your mate scraped off some paint to get a good continuity to earth, could you give it a blast with some WD40 so it will at least help to slow down the rusting process....
got a b18 vtec mini that needs finishing west Midlands pizza will be ordered when you get here steve
Cracking video mate , can't beat a bit of banter while doing something you enjoy mate , keep safe be seeing you 🧐lmao
@@classicminidetails8887 definitely love my minis so keep it up brother
Very professional video - you stated dinner time and TH-cam went to a KFC commercial.
Bloody hair stood up on back of my neck when Steve scraped paint off for indicator? Why not run that earth wire to the base plate of lamp? I would whip lamps back off and spray with waxoil, i also covered both sides of base plate with it, trust me i'm an auto electrician with ocd! . . And i hate corrosion!!
It's what I eventually did, although we didn't capture it in the vid. Although I didn't use waxoyl, because it's shit 👍🏽
This is so cool, so very coooool "Get Subscribing!"
Is your mates van the one that used to belong to the chap who converted an ambulance and tripped it round europe on youtube?
@@Dagowly83 well it is... he messaged in the other video bout this van. His names project amber!

@@Dagowly83 lol!! No worries , people call me rain man im that anoraky in the mini scene, his adventure round europe was awesome so well worth watching!
My lovely late Dad taught me to drive in his green delivery van back in 1971 so that tells you how old I am! Happy memories, love your channel. Live long and prosper
