R179 (E) Train First Day of Service!

Taken January 6th 2025
As 2 sets of R179s (to my knowledge) are currently assigned to the Jamaica Yard, the aforementioned cars finally made their debut on the (E) line.

@@pixytori28 the R179s are only there for CBTC testing in passenger service. That will be same reason with the R211s if they decide to put one there. This is only temporarily. Jamaica doesn’t need the R211 fleet. They already have the R160s that are also NTTs and every single R160 sets already have CBTC
