You can't compare those 2 Cook and Fournette; they're almost playing different positions. And what do you want, what does your offense prefer? A Power runner or an Agile Runner? Fournette's not as agile but his power is unquestionably dominant; more so then Derrick Henry. Fournette and Henry can be easily compared. Dalvin Cook you' can better measure against McCaffrey. What's your preference there?
Although I love Fournette; he's the kind of guy who if he slows down a tiny bit, becomes useless. It's complicated; but when a Power back can't reach the C Gaps and the edge as fast as the Agile backs; the Defense just clogs up the interior gaps. This is how Brandon Jacobs became useless and tippy toed seeing no daylight. This is why Derrick Henry is a backup; I assume, because the Titans have every incentive to run the cheap rookie into the ground; locked up for 4 years non guaranteed low round salary...and keep the expensive free agent Murray fresh.
Although my preseason preference was Cook, I've since flipped to Fournette. I agree with what you said about system fit, though -- I think Fournette belongs in a drive-blocking scheme, whereas Cook projects well to a zone-blocking scheme.
This guys combo of speed and lateral quickness is crazy
yeah him and Christian Mccaffrey are very similar.
I think he might be better than Fournette. Incredible player.

Also, I prefer Cook to McCaffrey.
He still is better than Fournette 🍢🍢
Imagine if he had a great O line what he would have done
This video is when Dalvin ate the Cans lunch!!👏👏🍢🍢
