True camp needs true genius to parody. I hear so many echoes of the great divas of legend. It is not just that they are singing a duet in falsetto. It is that they know. and their audience knows, the high art of Gencer, Callas, Verrett, Ponselle, Milanov, Tebaldi, Albanese, etc.
