I just changed my Chevy Traverse 2021 using this videos. But with the front bow tie wasn’t necessary to remove anything, I just pushed the bow tie with my hand on one of the sides, and with a plastic paint scraper I was able to remove it very easily. The one from the back was less easy to remove the glue but it worked.
I just did my Chevy Traverse 2021 using this video and it went perfect. The only difference is the front bow tie I could be able to stick my hand through the grill and push it. Then with a plastic paint scraper I removed it with no breaks. Not sure if it can be done with other grills.
What color is the Traverse? I just bought a 2019 Equinox and mine is nightfall grey metallic and wanted to put a black bowtie but wasn't sure if it would look good with my color?
No need to even open the hood to change the front bowtie . You can pry the old bow tie off right from the front with a credit card and plastic pry bar. If you do it gently you won’t even break the clips.
@@TheSundaeDrive Yes! Thanks for replying! I called my dealership as a last resort and they said I just have to push the clips sideways or something? Do you have any tips on how to do this or what tool to use?
Instead of all the disassembly couldn't you just pop off the chevron portion and left the bracket attached. Then inserted the black chevron into the bracket similar to how this guy did in his video th-cam.com/video/k55Jusdi9PA/w-d-xo.html

That can work too for sure! I like to play it safe and release the clips but in most cases it should just pull off 👍👍
Anyone know if I can get an led one for under 150? I see them for 250-300 but from gm and for other models
Thank you! Super easy to do and awesome to see an eagles fan in the vid lol
Haha glad it helped! Fly eagles fly 😉😅
Question to remove the Grille do u have to take the bumper off also ?
Not 100% sure as I have not done that
Perfect tutorial. Thanks for the help!
Glad to help!
Can you make a video on installation of reverse light bulbs? There is none.
Sure! I'll try to shoot that the next time I visit the parents
Does this work with older style Traverse? They did a body update in 2018. I drive a 2013.
The process is likely similar but I have not done it on an older one so I'm not positive.

Can you do a video on how to remove front grille ?
I'll try to sometime but it's my mom's and we are a few hours apart. Probably won't be anytime soon :(

It's satin steel metallic. Any grey color looks good with a black bowtie in my opinion so should look great!
@@TheSundaeDrive thank you!

Thanks for sharing awesome clip and black emblem mad in Korea wow!!
No problem! Hope it helps!
Who was the squirt helping you ,your little brother? He thumb must be hurting after these video. Lol.😎👍👍
lol yup - that's one of the little bros
Do you know if this is the same size as the 22 trailblazer bow tie?
I'm not sure but newer Chevy bowties are installed in very similar ways normally
Do the have them for 2019 Chevy impala
Easy drive the thing to the crusher !!!

For sure. Just be careful not to scratch your grille
Hello,
Is that the same for 2021 traverse?
😊thanks
It should be!
Thanks! 👍🏻

Hey....do you have the links for these emblems? It didn't look like the links in the description were working. Thanks!

Mine took no time I bought it with black
Good video thank you
no problem! hope it helped you out!
Is this same procedure for 2020 Chevy Traverse?
Yes
I've been trying to find the answer everywhere. I've opened my hood THREE times. HOW DO YOU RELEASE THE CLIPS? Please answer.
Clips on the bowtie?

Whatch at the 1:55 mark of the video. I show the clips. I used a long flat head screw driver. You push it to the side so the clip releases
Look at the new one and see how the clips move.
Wow I just spray painted mine and it looks just as good
Where can I buy them?
Found it
Link in the description but here it is for ya: amzn.to/34P0eAC
좋은 정보 감사합니다
좋은하루되세요~^^
Really, you don't say.
I’m wondering if this process is similar for a 2019 Chevy blazer? The part wasn’t too bad but over 200$ for installation is ridiculous.
6:04 lmao 😂
haha had to sneak the camera man in somewhere
He takes to much apart. It can be take out with just your finger from the underside of the emblem

Just Plasti dip it.
that's one solution but plasti dip wears off over time. This looks cleaner and is more permanent.
Remove the rear emblem with dental floss. Easy
Nope….entirely too much work….nooooope
Lol some people will pull it straight out with a small pry tool but I worry about damaging the grille doing it that way
