Thank you so much. I don’t know why I was having problems figuring out how to warp the Big Sister. I watched this over and over and finally understood. Now it is so easy:).

Sooooooo, don’t tighten the warp tension until the heddles have been installed??? Can’t feed my second group of heddles as the warp tension is too taught. Am I correct in my thinking?

We recommend tightening some after you initially warp (if necessary, it depends on how tightly you wrap around the loom) and then tightening again once you've finished with the heddles and lowered your warping bar. You can adjust your tension anytime, so if you find your warp is too tight to too loose before putting on the heddles or while weaving, you can loosen or tighten as needed.

On another Mirrix playlist, the video on warping says to thread the warp through the same part of the coil twice if you want to use the shedding device. On this video, there's no mention of that.
I'm also not sure why, but the shed appears to be above the bar when I turn the shedding device one way, and below the bar when I rotate it. Is that normal?

That is when bead weaving using the shedding device. For tapestry, you only need one warp thread in each warp coil. While warping you need to be really careful not to cross your warp threads.

In case we would like to purchase the bottom spring box, how are the brass nuts attached? It seems that there are no holes on the pipes. Are the nuts magnetic?

The brass nuts are attached to the plastic Bottom Spring Kit tray and the tray is then adhered to the bottom beam.

I did exactly as the video said and I can't get a shed. I put the heddles on twice thinking I made a mistake the first time. They are put on perfectly and I still don't get a shed. The warp thread I used isn't as thick. Could that be the problem?

A thin warp should not prevent you from getting a shed. The issue is almost always with the heddles. Have you checked out this blog post? www.mirrixlooms.com/blogs/mirrix-blog/heddle-troubleshooting-for-tapestry-updated Also feel free to email us a picture and we can help troubleshoot!
