I remember following and watching this USA mens team from playing friendlies, nationals, to International matches all the way to Olympic Gold in Beijing. Truly a memory I won't forget.

This one was a classic. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was watching this on my laptop stuck in a hotel in Marrakech Morocco. My only connection to the outside world. Clay Stanley's rocket jump serves was the differenc.e
Looking back, defense back then is way more consistent than today. It made me crazy both teams receiving them perfectly 😩

Stanley was just so humble, when he converted points, you never see that boastful reaction, unlike Helller, Giba and Gustavo, watching their reaction was too arrogant..Giba staring down at Riley Salmon upon blocking thats a karma of a boastful person...
Well, it's understandable, you're calmer when you're ahead, whereas the Brazilians were stressed, so their reactions are more as result of relief rather than arrogance.
Yeah , that glare was unnecessary , calm down Giba lol
