Great video, my favourite green fragrances are Chanel no. 19, Gucci Envy (discontinued beauty), Sisley Eau du Soir and many more....cheapie but great is A scent of Issey Miyake.
Last summer I bought Green Spell by Eris Parfums, which is green turned up to 100, like rolling in a field of grass in the sunshine. I live in the Pacific Northwest where there are a lot of evergreens and sometimes in the spring I want to smell like trees so today I'm wearing Serge Lutens Fille en Aiguilles.
Love those choices!! I recently got into green scents. I love ERawan by Dusita and Green Spell by Eris (It is a bit similar to the Diptyque you featured). Essence of the Park by Carthusia is also lovely. Now I just need some spring weather to arrive to the Pacific Northwest. It has been cold and rainy here.
You have Eau de Jane! Im so happy that you're talking about it. I need to get my hands on it ASAP. I usually only go for green vanillas if I do choose green or the Hermes Jardin line🥰🥰🥰
I love Green scents! I own both Cristalle and Herba Fresca and love them both! I find Cristalle EDT hard to find as its quite rare but I was lucky enough to buy 2 bottles on my recent cruise!
My favourite green fragrance has to be Fathom V by Beaufort London. It smells like the sticky juice you get when you cut a stem or a green branch. With a bit of saltiness, watery and notes and a slight dry earthy quality. Another is Salamanca by Olympic Orchids. More brown in colour association but a vegetal clay and leather scent.
i am enjoying Un Jardin Sur Le Toit (and Un Jardin Sur Le Nil).. i love that it has an aromatic accord to it as well.. another green fragrance I enjoy is Alluring Fig by T.Kalotinis.. super green and almost bitter, but dries down sweet and powdery 💚
Yve, thank you for sharing your top green fragrances! I am loving them these days as I cannot wait for the spring to arrive to my state. I am wearing Bois D'Adrien by Goutal tonight. Lime, pine, and incense.
I love green fragrances. I think they might be my favourite. Absenth Borealis by Maison Crivelli is a current favourite. Found by Miller Harris is fantastic.
Ah yes Green Spell was one I almost bought, but sadly I became completely noseblind to it within a couple of hours! Such a shame because it is a beautiful and intensely green fragrance.
I'm working my way towards appreciating green notes. Not friends with galbanum yet, but maybe I'll get along with it eventually! I like the green, leafy smell of Philosykos, and I bought Jardin Sur Le Toit after watching your review :-) 🌱🍎 Thanks for sharing your list of favourite green scents!
Green notes are my new thing right now! 💚 Woman by Ormonde Jayne and Basilico & Fellini by Vilhelm are currently my favorites. Never heard of Eau de Jane. I’m curious about the longevity though… Gucci Bloom Acqua Di Fiori and Florabotanica are also green to my nose.
Wearing GIT today...this can't be a coincidence.... 😄🌿 Hurray for tomato leaf!! Certainly metallic on occassion, sharing quite a few characteristics with geranium (which is actually geranium leaf). Definitely a fan of Herba Fresca in the spring time! And Molinard's The Basilic. Refreshing stuff. Lovely vid Yve 💚
Thank you for also sharing the perfumers. I haven’t seen others do that (yet). I’m not familiar with the perfumes you shared but my favorite green fragrance is Bijou Vert by Raw Spirit. I looked up the perfumer and it’s Harry Fremont.
Good story about the Cristale! That is a a beautiful, green potion. Vent Vert, if you can get your nose on it, is amazing. I’m quite keen on Synthetic Jungle.
@@lynnleglaire4819 Interesting! I think Jane Daly mentioned that she liked the old and new formulations. It's reassuring to know that some reformulations aren't always bad.
If you like tomato leaf, you should really try Ninfeo Mio from Annick Goutal - discontinued but not impossible to find. And in the house of Hermes, Eau d'orange verte, while obviously citrus on top, has a wonderful green stemmy-ness and bitter green pith that balances and dries out anything fruity about the orange.
I think I may have smelled it in stores, but I have to revisit it to remember what it smells like. I'm more familiar with Biarritz and Venise. Is Deauville a good green scent?
@@yvespiderssmells9956 Yes, It's my favorite in the line. I find it shares a few similarities with Chanel Cristalle though it's by no means a dupe for it.
Loved this 💚 my favorite green?? Maybe Green Spell? Can’t pick, Eau de Jane is lovely (makes me feel like I’m Julie Andrews in the opening of sound of music) Acqua Viva by Profumum is one I’m ready to wear and L’Ombre Dans L’Eau is one I wear all year long. The green aspect is very refreshing there 💚🌿
Great video, my favourite green fragrances are Chanel no. 19, Gucci Envy (discontinued beauty), Sisley Eau du Soir and many more....cheapie but great is A scent of Issey Miyake.
I've seen A Scent on the shelves for a steal - I need to grab it next time I see it!
Now you all are making me want to try A Scent!

Thank you Joss! ☘️🌿
Gives me joy to hear your feelings of EdJ 💚
❤️💕🙏

The Jardin line is amazing when it comes to green scents! Eau de Jane is such a fantastic one.

Fathom V sounds amazing!
I love “Aliage”… reminds me of my mother.
I'm ready for some greenery to return to my life, I'm over winter now
Hope it warms up there soon!
Argh! Eau de Jane! ONE DAY I will get to try it. Lovely list Yve! I was super keen for this one, I love green fragrances. 🤗 I agree re: Herba Fresca!
Great picks. Going to revisit my green scents when it warms up a bit.
Thanks, Henna!
I love green scent! I love Galbanum! I have L’île au Thé and Le Chèvrefeuille from Goutal!
Wow seems like Goutal makes really good green fragrances!
@@yvespiderssmells9956they do indeed, you should try their Ninfeo Mio. So green, so beautiful.

Goutal seems to have great green fragrances! Incense and lime sound like a very interesting combination!
Great list Yve! One of my favourite green scents would be Sisley’s “Eau de Campagne” Beautiful tomato leaf!! 😀 🌱❤️
Oh I haven't tried any Sisley fragrances! that sounds very interesting to me.
I love green fragrances. I think they might be my favourite. Absenth Borealis by Maison Crivelli is a current favourite. Found by Miller Harris is fantastic.

Galbanum can be a tricky one! My MIL doesn't like the smell of that note.

Florabotanica is such a good one! Great choices!
Great selection, Yve. I am craving green fragrances recently, I guess it' s longing for spring.
Thank you, Iga!
favorite green fragrance - Tetramorph by House of Matriarch

Thanks, Becca! I think a few others have done it (Tara from Olfactofiles comes to mind), but yes I do think it is important to credit the perfumers.
If you love tomato vine scents - try Italian Leather by Memo - OMG, authentic smell.
Good story about the Cristale! That is a a beautiful, green potion. Vent Vert, if you can get your nose on it, is amazing. I’m quite keen on Synthetic Jungle.
I hear so many good things about Vent Vert. Have you smelled the current formulation?
@@yvespiderssmells9956 I have an older bottle. I’ve smelled a the latest version and it’s beautiful…a little windier…airier.

I'll need to check out Ninfeo Mio! Heard great things. And yes, Eau d'orange verte is wonderful!
My favorite green fragrance is Timbre by Chris Rusak.
Yay! Chanel!!! I like the freshness of a green scent but it can’t smell like sod grass lol. Thanks for sharing 💕
LMAO Sod grass 😂😂😂 Thanks for watching!
Great list. Have you tried Chanel Paris Deauville?

I really just began to like green fragrances.Nice video.
Thanks, Robert! I like that you're getting into this category!
Why did you skip No. 19 !!??
It's not in my collection and it's just not in my personal top 10
@@yvespiderssmells9956 Thank you, I love No. 19, what do you see as a step up from that (galbanum focused with that supporting Jasmine) ?
