One of the reasons why the ride is stiff in this review was most likely due to the tire pressure. 8:30 you can see in the TPMS that the pressure of the tires are around 290 kpa or 42 psi estimated. We reduced the tire pressure on our unit to the recommended kpa (230) or approximately 33 psi and the ride quality was SIGNIFICANTLY better.
i agree, ours was also 290 kpa out of CASA, changed it to 230 kpa after 2 days and now way better. I wonder why the plant would release the car with 42psi pressure while the manual recommends 33 only.
Test drove this in GAC Ortigas, and maaaan this really is the Coolray killer. Exhaust sound is quite nice. It would've been nice to showcase that in the video, but great review as always!!!
Sir Caco mentioned that he feels like that the transmission/engine works better in the emzoom than its other siblings. I think this is due to power/weight ratio. Emkoo has the same engine and output as the Emzoom but it is bigger, larger and heavier so the engine/transmission works harder in the Emkoo than in the Emzoom. Either way, GAC is really stepping it up this year with the Empow, Emkoo, and Emzoom. More power to them. 😊

I love autodeal, but autoindustria has stepped up their channel and programming. They have a better and more detailed review. The test drive was also great and done in an empty warehouse where vince was able to play with the emzoom.

Easy choice if it were available in a dark interior. That camel brown interior will be tough to maintain. It's one of the few things keeping me from buying this. Anyhow, congrats!

Best bang for the buck. GAC in china is also known for manufacturing toyota cars known as GAC-Toyota. It looks like this will be the next big hit after the geely coolray.
we have one 1st batch release, extremely satisfied. Fuel economy was so good we are getting 9-13 Km/L in city and an easy 18-20 in Hiway. This one is so fast as well 0-100 in 7.5sec when you use sport+ and the exhaust sound is something, very cold aircon as well.

I love the Coolray, but this looks great. Legroom of passenger seats seems to be better too, and the power is on par. This can be a serious competitor to the Coolray if marketed properly.

Emzoom Experience in Baguio. Uphill, Downhill, Uphill Stop and Go No Issue at all. Pero nag ka problema ako sa transmission or maybe naguluhan yung computer kalalabas lang ng garahe nag reverse ako super steep yung pag urong ko NO issue smooth akong naka labas at naka pag ready to go uphill around 40-50degree sya so mataas taas talaga sya. I set muna sasakyan sa Park from auto parking. Doon lumabas yung issue nya ayaw umarangkada at mag reverse. After trying mga 10th times naka pag reverse naman at naka drive papanik. Pero bago umabot sa taas muntikan tumigil makina ulit. Na solve ang issue after I turned off the engine completely and started it again.
As someone that uses a Coolray, if this thing has much better fuel economy especially on city crawls, and perhaps better throttle response overall, I think it'll definitely be a coolray killer

just this car for a test drive, I can say its not for newbie drivers cause theres some kick when you hit the gas. I tried the sports mode man it pulls! You can also start the car using the key as well as opening the windows and sun roof.

Pag Wet DCT mas resistant sa heat compared sa Dry DCT mas okay sa mga stop and go traffic.. pero my tamang ways para idrive ang dct.. you can search it here sa youtube..

That's quite normal actually having a tighter suspension specially for a sporty car. My brother has a decked out honda Type R (turbo, brimbo disc breaks, customized exhaust, etc) and judging by your description, it would feel like I was driving his car. And you're right! That's the purpose of a tighter suspension. Not for the faint of heart 😅 well.. atleast it won't do a jack n poy on me and I'll be fine lol. A little jitter won't hurt and I like it better that way, functionality over a little sacrifise of comfort. Planning to get one and I hope I get approved. Having a dual citizenship can be quite taxing here in the philippines.. too much paperwork to do as well as I don't have a local (philippine) bank. Just my US bank. Wish me luck! Can't wait to drive that bad boy up! 😂

This is my favorite crossover up to this date. Like Emkoo, it looks like an e-car which adds up to its moden design. Sayang, nakakuha na ng GCR tropa just a week before this was launched. Ito sana irecommend ko.

The proportions of the rear give me cx-3 vibes where it just looks like a raised hatchback and the trunk space bears that out, the front looks very intresting however. It also seems to be a thing with GAC where they dont give you paddles on all trims, odd.
Well, why would you get a sporty crossover if you want something as comfortable as you usual ones? Of course, they put stiffer suspension to reduce body roll.

i'd say Autoindustriya's review is much more detailed. And i liked the way they test drove the car.

Dry DCT ang may reliability issue sa stop and go.. Emzoom has Wet DCT
Kung worried ka sa WDCT, go with the GS4 it uses an Aisin 6-speed AT.
