Для новой экранизации подобрали актёра типажа Сяо Чжана. Неплохо, бюджет явно был тоже больше, чем в первой версии, костюмы ярче... Но Чжоу Ижань не обладает тем природным шармом, который есть у Сяо Чжана и, судя по ранобэ, у Тан Сана. Поэтому только Сяо Чжан - настоящий Тан Сан!

I only watched this drama because Xiao Zhan was in the first drama. He plays his part so naturally, that you feel you are in the drama. In season 2 it felt unreal like a game. The young actor playing Tang San is new, I will watch it one day when I'm in the mood. They are all new actors this time. All the actors in season 1 were excellent. Maybe because Xiao Zhan and the other actors weren't in season 2 I lost interest for now.

I like both Seasons and both ML actors in Duoluo Continent! I feel like as a society we could watch and enjoy quality entertainment without comparing and complaining. Both seasons are notably different but they are both exceptionally well done.

This is the problem in Chinese Entertainment field, a lot of young traffic idols trying to play role with gravitas, and making more low budget custom dramas, but it's like watching kids role playing than playing the role.

Xiao Zhan's performance as Tang San was so memorable and perfect that I find it painful to watch Zhou Yiran. Physically, Zhou Yiran is not Tang San. His acting is meh. And Yuxi Zhang is boring. This sequel is miscast in so many ways. I found the first Soul Land to be more believable. After watching less than 10 episodes, I refuse to watch the rest. What a bomb of a series!
