Is it bad that I like this version better than the original? Like I love how Hangeng has more parts, Zhoumi's rap is actually good, more Wookie, the originally video was kinda cringey (my opinion don't kill me pls), Henry's violin just makes the song so much better, and last but not least, they still kept Yesung's part at the end :) overall to me, this is best version lol
You're definitely not the only one. The instrumental and mixing in here is so much better, Henry's violin part everything, Hankyung being the ultimate visual in this video, Zhoumi and Donghae slayed the rap, and also the lyrics itself just sound better in Chinese than in Korean
the original MV (the korean ver) was made in 2006 when korean idols (even western celebs) used to have weird haircuts and the quality of the MVs was low back then. i wouldn't say the original MV was cringey because if we watched it back in 2006, we would find it cool. ''U'' was the song that made Super Junior get their first win on music shows and it had a lot of digital streams in korea. it was a massive hit. the Chinese version by SJ-M is newer than the original version so of course it is an upgraded version of the original, the technology progressed and the quality of MVs progressed, the haircuts changed and the outfits changed with time
