Wow, dog number 2 is awesome, what a pretty face. No droop whatsoever. Does anyone know the breeder's name?

glmuelle no but she’s definitely an American variation so I’d you search into American vs European Great Danes and the. Find breeders specified in it

The american line has more grey hounds genes than the European line so they're leaner and less droopy

Does anyone know the breeder of the second great dane? The harlequin? She looks stunning!!! So elegant and well proportioned. I have only seen massiv ones and some that are too tall and thin. This one looks great!!

Just for any great Dane people in the future that come to watch this.... The standard for great Danes is the same across the board. There is no difference in European Danes vs American Danes. They aren't supposed to be overly droopy as no standard calls for that.
But the males are going to be bigger and manlier looking than the females. Per standard.

i'm just afraid of their joints having issues. i wonder how much cosequin these dogs are on. smart dogs though! my dane takes like 30 seconds just to sit down.

I use human glucosamine as recommended by breeder and my vet and just cut them in half. They’re cheaper! And for joints actually exercising them is very beneficial it’s just a matter of how. Walks are fine but what I do is bike along side him and keep him at a light trot for a mile. It builds the muscle around the joints to help support them and keeps them nice and lean. He’s now 2 years old and we have switched vets and both vets have said he is the best structurally built Dane they’ve ever seen. We did the same thing for our last Dane who was actually my currents dad and he made it to 11 only getting serious join issues late in the year at 10.

    * these weave poles seem difficult for these guys.
Idt i like how these dogs r treated by the trainers smh i only saw ONE trainer who wasnt fat and over weight. To me thats a sign of laziness. I'm lazy so ill take it out on my huge dog🤬im not om w the way they treat the digs here. Ive not seen a single trainer compliment the dog for finishing the course...not one has applauded their dog for their finish. Smh i just dont like what in seeing💔😣

I think they just have to get them off the field immediately so that the next team can go

Someone's appearance has nothing to do with their skill. What an ignorant and ugly thing to say.

You seem to believe that being fat is more severe a flaw than anything that’s wrong with you. People who are happy with themselves aren’t cruel to others
