- In the 1990s there was quite a market for all types of bootleg VHS home videos that even made it into the big music store chains. Most of them were in rather poor visual quality, but still some had interesting content, that, at the time (pre-TH-cam), wasn't available any other way. (The "Unauthorized" one with the Thriller days home interviews probably still being the most known).
This is a rip of a VHS home video called "Souvenir Special" released in the UK in 1993, containing news clips from 1983 to 1990 with a bit of extra narration. (The same content was also released on a VHS called "The Mad Bad Word Of Michael Jackson", probably 1-2 years earlier.)

@@ahad4488 I never thought about it really. We noticed his looks change, but none of it mattered to me. It was he aura, pure essence and soul that surpassed his outward appearance always. Michael was gorgeous from a child. I only wish he knew how beautiful he was.

I'm soooo glad I was born a year before Michael, since I was able from a little girl to watch him grow up to the beautiful Michael Jackson. There will never, ever be another Michael. I wish he was here now to see his impact. I have been a fan since day one and watched him grow into an incredible, charitable, loving person. And to become a dad. I will always be a MJ fan. haddid it yes I saw the bad tour twice July 15&16 saw him once again in 1992 for the dangerous tour and for the final time I saw him in 1997 for the history tour

Of course reporters going by rumours instead of facts or asking Michael. He is who he was. What certain people expected of him idk? But thats what made him so big. He never tried copying others he was original on everything. People were just horrible to him.
