I am using the galaxy a13 but the 4g version and its not connecting to my cast device, something about smart view being replaced with smart things that now only works on smart tv, please how do I rectify this problem

I'm pretty sure it's much harder to monitor everything you think say and do if you are screencasting without going through Wi-Fi. As soon as it passes through the Wi-Fi connection government agencies now have all of that data available to them. That's their upside
Just "upgraded" from a Samsung A10e with generic "SmartView" button next to "flashlight" in drop-down menu to an A13 without that native functionality. Fortunately I could cast to TV within the TH-cam app to watch this and figure it out. Google Home is invasive, asks for addresses of homes where I'm casting, and I had to click a "stop mirroring" button within the Google Home app to shut it off. Good video but not happy with Google's intrusiveness.

TLDR: Samsung and AT&T are both pretty crappy lately! AND I was deceived!!! Really crappy of Samsung to remove Smart View and I'm ticked about it, here's why... I contacted my phone provider, called the local store and spoke to some idiot there, I specifically asked him if the model of Samsung phone I was considering buying, after looking online, could Screen Cast/Mirror Cast to my TV he said, yes all the Samsung phones could via Smart View. I said I'd be in for the phone, he told me it was out of stock in the store but coukd be ordered online, the problem was it was going to be like 2 days. I needed a phone asap because the Samsung phone I had, and was replacing, was not safe to use. It was experiencing a very swollen, really crazy puffed up battery. It was the only phone I had in the house. The swollen battery phone had been a birthday gift to me, and was less than 2 years old. Unfortunately the person that gifted it to me had not purchased the warranty. That phone worked well screen mirroring was great but I was told the phone was obsolete at less than 2 years old, and no longer sold. There is no phone repair service in my small town and the local battery warehouse type stores had no battery for the phone. The guy at the AT&T store saud they did not replace batteries.I rely on my cell phone, have no internet, no wifi, no land line for over a decade. I had to buy a phone. My mom is 90 years old so an emergency could occur where I'd need a phone. Having a phone is important, vital, so I ordered the Samsung phone I had talked to AT&T guy about from my local my Walmart. I got it delivered that very day. I'm a senior, an old retired grandmother on a very very limited fixed income. I can't afford an internet bill and a cell phone bill each month. I have to be frugal.. so what I've been doing for years is using a prepaid unlimited AT&T plan (the unlimited is awesome in my small town, rarely ever throttled even if you've used a lot of data) with a Samsung phone with Smart View. I used Smart View to cast to a Screen Beam Mini 2 WiDi device. That device uses Intel Wireless Display tech and does not require me to have WiFi in my home, no internet service was required for me to cast anything on my phone to my old dumb TV. All that was required was for the TV to have an HDMI port forbthe screen besm mini 2 to.plug into. Awesome, right? A few of the streaming services had started to show ads fine but were showing the content cast to my TV as a black screen during the program content segments, the audio was fine though. I got around that by using a Quick Settings app that let me install a Cast Tile that worked perfectly with my phone and streaming apps. The blacked out videos were no longer blacked out. Yippee success. I'm ticked off that some kid, who I could tell hated his job at the AT&T store. Some kid that offered really poor customer service gave me misinformation about the phone I asked about. It's also frustrating because it took me a few days to get my new crappy phone set up with everything I wanted and needed downloaded, transfered over or reinstalled, etc.. The punky AT&T guy told me their was no reason for me to bring my new AT&,T phone into the store because they no longer had a transfer machine there and for me to swap out my Sim card and do all the setup and transfer my self. I accomplished all that and wanted to cast a movie to my TV, eat candy and relax, but noooo. It was not to be. Obviously I watched your video hoping to find a solution to my issue but, at present, there does not appear to be one. Boo hoo. I hate to give up because in all of the years that I've been online using computers and smart phones. Sooo long that I was online prior to the internet having a graphical interface. I was also an early cell phone (bag phone) then flip cells then Smart phone user. In all that time I believe this will be the first time I've given up on accomplishing my goal, and that sucks. It really pains my old lady geek heart. My friend is going to give me an older working Samsung phone w Smart View, I'll see what the cost is for using that on a second line purely for my entertainment needs. Not what I want to do, admit defeat, it's tough but it finally happened. Lol
I know how you feel, I am really pissed off that my new Samsung can't be connected to my Walker telly, when I had no problem doing so with my old Samsung, which broke in May. Can't afford cable either, so am stuck just watching my molile at night. Am a disabled, Irish woman, in her 50's, and I feel your frustration, believe me.
You should just say from the get-go you need Wi-Fi to do any of the following. I have a Samsung a13 I have a Samsung TV set just by having two Samsungs products they should already be able to key together without using Wi-Fi.. is Samsung SmartThings not that smart

I'm pretty sure it's much harder to monitor everything you think say and do if you are screencasting without going through Wi-Fi. As soon as it passes through the Wi-Fi connection government agencies now have all of that data available to them. That's their upside
