I played in the KD1. Crazy to think that they released for $87. They were pretty solid. Cushion was good, traction was really good especially since the floor I was on was old and super dusty, the materials were cheap obviously but still felt nice for the price at the time. The fit for me was good too. It just needed to brake in.

@@agency7367 too much heel slip for me in the 15s other wise a perfect shoe. materials work and traction was great for me in the 12s. Plus first iteration of the zoom strobel so it's got a soft spot for me

KD 4s were the best when I was younger and my knees were healthier. Now, I think the 12s and 15s are the two best in his line. Tho the heel slippage of the 15 is ridiculous without a runner’s knot.

I had the 3 and i loved them. Not so much with the 4 though, I remember the buckle part really dug into my foot. Then I had 7 Easter colourway, really love those as well.

The KD 4 we're Top tier, I've got a pair and I'm sad that i haven't double up on these pair since it's release. And i also love the KD 5 elites,12s, and 14-15s

I disagree with the 14s being the best imo. While it is pretty great all around, the mushy cushlon midsole made the shoes super laggy and make you feel slow. If you rely on athleticism, strength and explosiveness, it’s not the best option. The 13s are much more explosive and bouncy due to the extra zoom unit in the forefoot, and since it is a stiff midsole, you still get that comfortable ride with the zoom strobel without feeling laggy or slow. The 13s also have better support for me as well.
