I don't see why Remainers don't concede the point that agreeing to be part of the European Union is a choice to limit domestic legislative freedom for economic benefits and, perhaps, benefits as concerns international diplomacy. As a foreign nurse, I was requested to work in the UK due to the lack of qualified UK nursing staff who would accept the hours, pay and situation of the patients.

I had to spend almost a month in hospital at the start of last year and the stuff that nurses have to put up with for the wages they get is simply shocking. They aren't refusing to work the hours as such, they are just wanting a situation where their skills are more valued.

My job was EU Funded. Most of the IT systems in the schools in Northumberland were IT funded. The planned upgrades in some of them were also EU subsidised. The milk was also EU subsidised. Not back to when I was working there, teachers and management staff were absolutely bricking it, that they'll not be able to afford replacement computers, ipads, that apprenticeships to get people into teaching and into schools to help kids get a better education that I would've loved to have had when I was that age. Now years and years on from that, I don't know what's happened with the schools, because I lost my job because it wasn't going to continue with funding. So yes, schools were better off when we were in the EU.

As a foreign nurse, I was requested to work in the UK due to the lack of qualified UK nursing staff who would accept the hours, pay and situation of the patients.
You can just say lack of qualified nurses, you're making it sound like there's a load of nursing staff just sat at home refusing to work their hours.

I had to spend almost a month in hospital at the start of last year and the stuff that nurses have to put up with for the wages they get is simply shocking. They aren't refusing to work the hours as such, they are just wanting a situation where their skills are more valued.

Yes, because I used to work in schools just after brexit had passed. My job was EU Funded. Most of the IT systems in the schools in Northumberland were IT funded. The planned upgrades in some of them were also EU subsidised. The milk was also EU subsidised.
Not back to when I was working there, teachers and management staff were absolutely bricking it, that they'll not be able to afford replacement computers, ipads, that apprenticeships to get people into teaching and into schools to help kids get a better education that I would've loved to have had when I was that age. Now years and years on from that, I don't know what's happened with the schools, because I lost my job because it wasn't going to continue with funding.
So yes, schools were better off when we were in the EU.
