8:21 D-low is crazy. The fact that he heard that and was able to repeat it immediately is beyond me.
It’s very easy tbh if u know the two sounds involved in it. That’s like saying “wow can’t believe dlow was able to do a tongue click and throat bass right after hearing it”
If he was able to recreate any of Given’s beats that’d be crazy. They were all more complex than Remix’s (although I liked remix’s round 2 much more)
@@JimmyCwisp true, like their sound arsenal isn’t very different, and considering D-Low literally has years and years of experience more than remix, it’s expected if anything for him to replicate it lol, and even better perhaps. Unfortunately that’s also why a battler like Remix could lose against someone more unique sounding, like Vocodah or Show-Go for example(aside from them simply having more experience as well).

Poh snare is popular but most people still just use it as a gimmick. Heartzel and Given are the only ones to my knowledge who integrate it really smoothly.

I've caught up on these videos throughout the week, and I just want to say that watching D-Low judge is so awesome. His enthusiasm, vibe and just overall nature is so infectious. Can't help but smile and bounce with the guy.
I love how D-Low gets all hyped up about a move and then proceeds to do it just as good immediatelly after like it was nothing

To everyone who says Dlow isn’t the best, during most of these wildcard judge vids, he’s almost perfectly replicated the main bit of their routine without ever having done it before, with ease😂 he’d be takin the dub for sure but his depth of judging is making these competitions better

@@knaughta.masso-kist5944 have you listened to his newest videos? Bass, tech, lip rolls, musicality, rythm and good structure. He can almost perfectly match everyone else’s beats first try because he has just about every sound in the book, besides double voice and certain basses.
If I'm not mistaken I think given made the poh snare heartzel is another who uses the sound really great
