    Purity for Women is a short course brought to you by Al Madrasatu Al Umariyyah (AMAU). Many sisters frequently struggle with questions pertaining to purity, and often do not have access to a person of knowledge whom they can comfortably receive their answers from. The inboxes of various Islamic Organisations around the world are subsequently flooded with the same questions from different women. This short course is designed to cover the most commonly asked questions in a quick, simple and easy manner so it can be used as a reference point for sisters to refer back to. Verily, Allah is not too shy to tell the truth.

    • @TheEliteSniper1231
      @TheEliteSniper1231 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @بنت ‏أحمد i am referring to a situation of necessity. Otherwise if the women had options to find privacy like a womens only bathroom then obviously she would use that but what happens when thats not available and she has to pray ? My wife wears niqab and we have found ourselves in this situatuon thats why i ask

    I wonder if a woman has her hair done and she doesn’t want to get water on it, can she put on a khimar and wipe over it? Even if she’s at home.

    As salaamu alaykum and thank you. I wanted to ask a question about wudu and washing of the feet. If one who is an elderly woman and can't say left her feet like some do to the basin to wash to feet can she poor water over her feet let's say over a pan or container on the ground. Or what would be best ways to wash the feet besides over a sink like in the western homes. Thank you

      wa 'alaikum salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh
      Yes that's fine. She can even just use a wet hand and wipe her foot, as long as all the area got slightly wet. It is not necessary for water to pour over it, just for it to be wiped clean with water.

      Honestly I never wiped the ears when I wiped over my Khimar because the ears are naturally covered by it so I thought the rule applies on it too ….🤔
      Allahu Alem, I would be happy to get this question answered

    A.w.w,
    It is not permissible to make Masah on the head scarf. Similarly, masah on the turban, hat, Burqa and gloves are also not permissible.
    Washing the face, hands (forearms) up to the elbows and feet up to ankles, and Masah quarter of the head is a compulsory act of Wudhu.
    “O you who believe! When you intend to offer As-Salât (the prayer), wash your faces and your hands (forearms) up to the elbows, rub (by passing WET hands over) your heads, and (wash) your feet up to ankles.” (Surah Number: 5, Ayah Number: 6).
    I exhort people to uptake religious rulings from reliable scholars from your towns and communities. This is a matter of Ibadat what this person is discussing should not be taken lightly. Otherwise, your ibadat will be incomplete and no rewards will be reaped.

      "I exhort people to uptake religious rulings from reliable scholars from your towns and communities."
      Then why should we listen to your comment, especially when it is wrong? Are you a reliable scholar?
      You said "Similarly, masah on the turban, hat, Burqa and gloves are also not permissible."
      Are you not aware that the Prophet ﷺ himself wiped on his turban?
      عن المُغيرة بن شُعبةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عنه: ((أنَّ النبيَّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّم توضَّأ، فمسحَ بناصِيَتِه، وعلى العمامةِ، وعلى الخفَّينِ )) رواه مسلم
      As for reliable scholars, then this one of the opinions held in the Hanbali madhab, Ibn Hazm and some of the salaf held this opinion.

      1. It is not permitted to ‘mix-and-match between madhhabs,’ by scholarly consensus.
      2.It is not permitted to wipe over the turban or hijab (insofar as fulfilling the obligatory wiping is concerned) in the Hanafi and Shafi`i schools. The majority of the fuqaha interpreted the hadiths about wiping on the turban as being *after* the obligatory wiping, to ‘effectively’ wipe the entire area of the head, even if not actually doing so. This was the position of the majority of the early generations (salaf), because the texts regarding wiping over the turban are probabilistic at best, and such evidence is not sufficient to condition that which is decisively known, which is the obligation to wipe directly on the head, without a barrier.

      @user-bq3cw3bw8t 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@deidre11 Are you a scholar to be giving fatawa? If you follow the majority opinion as you wish, but what is the issue if the Ustadh follows a minority opinion if he believes it to be correct?
      What is the relevance of your mix and match point? If a person chooses an opinion that goes against their madhab because they believe it is more correct, then they are far too many scholars who have done this and this is not considered "mix and matching".

    SubhanAllah.
    Wudu3 over material? Don’t do it! The Hadith is baatil, the water must touch your skin.
    Dressing up and sounding like people of knowledge with these wrong advice is leading people astray. إنتبهوا

    • @Charcmode

      @Laz:R the ignorance is on you brother. And you calling me ignorant because of what you claim is sahih does not make it sahih even if you say it 1 million times. Nor does it change my stance and nor does it cement your proof.
      The problem you have is that firstly you think that every Hadith in Bukhari’s sahih is all sahih...wrong and the same goes for any other book except the Quran. I could pull several Hadith between Muslim’s sahih and Bukhari where hadiths are just plain lies on the Prophet ص and no I’m not Quraniyoon because on the only real Quraniyoon are those that follow the Quran and and the correct Prophetic traditions. Not fabrications of Hadith factories.
      Secondly as for your saying about the water not touching your scalp because of the hair, you are meant to part the hair so some water penetrates to the scalp habibi.
      And lastly as for the wiping over socks and praying in shoes... stop it, just stop it. It’s not only laughable it makes the wudhu3 as well as the salat problematic in the least and at worst baaaaaatil.

      @Laz:R apostasy 😂 you see the mindset. That’s all you lot think about. Islam is bigger than your mentality Akh. هو ليس على كيفك
      I don’t think you read my previous message about Quraniyoon for you still be asking that question. So Salam brother. I’ve said my piece and it is on me and your actions and words are on you. I’m not here to go back and forth with you. It’s not a completion and I’m not into the last word games so say your last words in my absence.

      @Laz:R Making fun? So you should call Bukhari and Muslim apostates too for doing the same thing with the Prophet and other prophets in their books.
      And there is a difference between saying this is not of the Prophet and knowingly mia king the sunna. I say those hadeeths and others are not of the Sunnah.

    • @pearlsofadaab
      @pearlsofadaab 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Akhi leave this ignorant one. it's well known that those that reject the sunnah in its totality aren’t even Muslims in the first place. He contradicted himself when he said that the “Real Quraniyoon” are those that follow the Quran and the authentic narrations, this is baatil as Qurani’s reject ALL of the sunnah, no matter the authenticity of the Hadith. How then can we take this person seriously 😂
      Alhamdulilah as for Ahlus Sunnah, we wipe over the socks, we can pray in shoes and we can wipe over our imama’s, due to the AUTHENTIC narrations that have been transmitted to us, whether they’re Ahad or Tawatur. This ignorant one hasn’t studied a single second of mustala’ al Hadith.
