I think I already stated that the Syed title, as well as many other various titles are employed by Muslim men and women all over the world to highlight their status as ahlul-bayt. I do not think it unreasonable to ask if you have visited such societies in which the use of titles is practiced as you are making judgements calls on people who are overwhelmingly innocent of what you paint them out to be. What has been your level of interaction with South Asian Muslim men? Are you aware how Islamic scholarship from the subcontinent has influenced Islam in Arabia?
