About Generation Zero:

Experience an explosive game of cat and mouse set in a huge open world. If you aren't getting experimental weapons, your character has to be at least level 25 for them to drop.

Just wait until you get the exp kvg-59. Thats a game changer. And with gold mag on the kvg-59 the cap is 250 rounds.
And yes gold mag for 50 cal is 18 rounds.
still trying to find the gold mag for the KVM 59, I have all the other 5 gold mods just can't find anything higher then a 4 crown mag
I have a little info I believe the south cost region is one of the worst places for experimental weapons so is marshlands or farmlands I’m not sure which and archipelago and I think one of the best places is the mountains region and the forest I also hear alpine unrest is great to
Edit: the experimental 50 cal has amazing armor piercing as if you can line up the components the experimental 50 cal can shoot through multiple components

The first rival I killed was a tank protected by a harvester and I got experimental clothing. The second one was also killing with the tank and harvester and I got even more experimental clothing

That gun blows through the bot that's why it kills so well... line the bot up to hit multiple hard points all at the same time and boom down goes the bot

Got every single experimental. Except the sledgehammer
Awesome weapon but ammo is very rare. Most of the time you loot the ammo in quantities of 1 to 5. Got lucky myself and a rival dropped almost 1000 of it. But you also can use ammo packs to get ammo for it.
Just get that skill that gives you more ammo I got 1572 AP from a couple tanks

Managed to get most of the experimentals before the patch that now only exp weapons drop after lvl 25
Exp pvg 90 is like a rapid fire rocket launcher but more precise. I was shaking after I took down a FNIX harvester in 5 shots

I thought the same thing, but I got an experimental pump to drop from reaper at level 18
If I'm being honest it's a little ridiculous that you need experimental railgun technology for a .50 Cal to finally be able to do this. It's a .50 Cal, even the 1 star Pansarvarnsgevar 90 should be able to blow most of the robots in half!

Im level 18 or 19 and i was getting killed by a military harvester then it becames a rival and became level 3-5 and i killed it and got a experimental jacket
Idc what you say, that was done on easy mode. You cannot take down a Phoenix tank in less than 20 shots.
