I'm so glad you made this video, I was just about to buy 1 so now I can just get the fan sensor mod from you, thanks bro! Live Fast and Ride Smooth 🤙🏻👍🏻
Imagine judging a coil by a dyno number… so much more to it than that like easier starting and efficiency. I saw a noticeable gain on my Harley sporster application with this coil.
For these kind of engines stock is good.... but what comes to dynatek's stuff.... They are quality aftermarket stuff... If we trust their stuff in top fuel racing, they cant be bad quality... In nitro harley engine if ignition misfires etc, it can cause huge explosion and that can possibly end your life. (i dont want to be beheaded by sky rocketing rear cylinder) Im using Dynatek arc2 cdi unit with dyna's dual fire minicoils in my nitro harley. arc2 is controlled by fueltech ft450 ecu... most guys ran and still many runs with older dyna4000 inductive unit which is proven from the 90s... most used in today is msd harley nitro ignition, which gives up 450mj energy per spark... and newer cdi units from fueltech gives over 1000mj per spark.... that is insane power... for comparison, these stock coils can make about 20mj... and audi "r8" red coil which is very popular performance coil in many aplications today, it makes still about 40mj...
Hello I was wondering if you can help me out, I’ve had a error code 50 for a while now and not sure how to fix the problem. I’ve switched battery’s out and it didn’t seem to fix the issue, ik it has to do with my ecu but no idea on fixing it pls help?
U dont buy a aftermarket ignition just for power! Quality of an ignition and more powerful cleaner spark is worth all the money! All aftermarket parts are not just about hp gains! When it comes to ignition and electrical components quality is of the upmost importance, and there is absolutely no doubt that dynatek is far superior to stock any day!!!! High performance coils are designed to create extra spark energy which helps ensure a rapid and complete burn! Having the assurance that one of the main 3 components for an engine to run is not only going to perform but perform smoothly is definately worth the $$$
I know in the automotive world high power coils only help when you have high compression as its more challemging to get a spark under those conditions. Try it on a 14:1 motor.
I’ve ran my stock coil on my rappy 804 with no issues. It’s more the spark plug then the coil you gotta worry about. And from the looks of my combustion chamber and piston dome I’m getting a complete burn.
a more complete burn would produce more power./.. thus showing the oem coil to be more than enough to support this engine. i see more failures with aftermarket parts then even with oem , especially Electronic, so here you are only introducing additional potential for failure due to either fitment or electrical failure.
@@raptordan6851 I’m talking about tweaking ignition timing for some nice hp gains, not the coil. There’s a few “free hp” to be had, depending on the fuel used, my bike is setup for e85 so there was a little I found with my build not as much as some of the other race fuels I’ve ran in the past though
@@raptordan6851 stage 2 cam? I have a custom grind torque monster in right now..I have a 804cc pushing 90+ hp...The bike mods are too long to list..i don’t race it, just tool around in sand pits and occasional fast trails / dirt roads..I wish someone made a stock sport quad 75-80+ hp cuz the raptor 700 stock isn’t enough power for my liking and you gotta spend big money and downtime with tear downs and rebuilds. Maybe one day but by then this 39 year ol frame will be 50 and have moved into a more comfortable side x side.
I love the no bullshit no sponsor real world testing!
Thanks for the honest info

Helpful video as always, so thank you! Are you going to dyno the Bored TB? It will be great, we are waiting for it :)
Hey Cuervo can I add a stage 3 hotcam with a stock head and have no problems at install
yes

Whats the best plug?
Stock zx14 plug they are around 20$ a pop
From Cuervo, not just some random on the Internet lol
I just bought one 2 days ago for the look lol

Depending on the fuel used there’s some power in the timing curve..
For what you pay , to get a fraction of a hp and loose a fraction on the dyno depending on rpm , it’s garbage .

@@xxthewolfxx I don’t mean to be that guy but for what you would spend you could get a stage 2 cam and actually see some improvements

Ignition curve is already dialed yea
