Thank you Aaron, great video. I haven’t used solid tools before, but I can see how they’d be useful. Hoping to see some videos on the new interface and hopefully some Skill Builder (longer) iPad tutorials!

I have enjoyed my limited but helpful experience with Sketchup for iPad. I have been waiting for this video!
I am a hobbyist wood worker. I have made several designs in Sketchup. I use components a lot now thanks to you guys coaching. Just makes sense now.
That gets me to a new problem. I am doing designs now that are getting quite accurate and refined. Currently I am making a stool design that I would like to build. However everything I have designed so far is flat or sharpe edges without rounding. I can use follow me for rounding over. That works except when the round over needs to smoothly cross over from a joint in to components. They are coplanar but the leg is spread out at an angle less than 90°. How can I use solids to get a good result? I can send a model for you to see. But if you did a video on this it would be great!

Hey Aaron. Love your videos on the iPad. Love Sketchup in my iPad too. I really wish you would do a more difficult/detailed/advanced modeling tutorial on the iPad.

I'm new to Sketch Up, so I assume that the solid tools are the same and are available in other than I pad applications?

That's right! Solid Tools is identical across all SketchUp platforms (as long as you have an active subscription.) In the free version, you only have the Outer Shell command.

@@SketchUp Thanks for your answer but it seems that I am needing to download something else which do not exist on iPad 😭😭
