They were trying!!! There is 20 GALLONS of Methanol in that Tank on the Back!! When he Grenaded the Front Motor, some of the Shrapnel cut one of the Fuel Lines and you had Methanol pouring out on Burning pieces of metal on the Track!!! You can see the Heat from a Methanol Fire, not the Flame!! What I don't understand is WHY did it take the Sled Operator SO LONG to back him up!!! You back the Rig up then you can deal with the Fire on the Rig!!!

I'm pretty sure those are intended for protecting the driver, or extinguishing the driver once they are off, not as a means of trying to extinguish a large alcohol fire.

It seems that in most tractor pull video's, no ones knows how to put a gas or alcohol fire out and it's rare to have the right equipment.
I've never understood the lack of a requirement for fire suppression equipment.

Well.... it started in the US, but has reached into pretty well, many countries around the world, especially in western and eastern Europe as well as some Asian countries.
