Me too...when i connect to wifi ...IT diconect from printer ..or connect to printer and disconect from wifi...i reset ,everything do from manual..and then when you are in app..and show ssid..IT didnt show no printer
I tried to plug it in a second time...but via cable and laptop...via WiFi...until it showed me to press this or press that, so I didn't press anything...the network came to me normally...when I disconnect the cable and again I connect, there is no problem and it connects me automatically... I haven't tried using the phone to see if it is possible via shared wifi

The Canon app does not list/offer MG3620 as a selection and when you try to just type it in - the select field again, does not recognize/find it. Any suggestions?
Have had the MG3600-series for ten years and this is the easiest I've been able to connect and print. Have tried various apps - Canon and others, removed and re-downloaded apps, connected, disconnected, reconnected, etc. etc. Seems to be the same/ similar to Canon's instructions, Canon's would not work more than once. I think I've printed maybe three things from phone (including test pic just now) over those ten years. Have had to save/upload to desktop SOOOO many times.... Will have to save this vid so when Canon's app loses the printer (and it will) I can at least redo it.
Are you trying Bluetooth or looking in the WiFi area on your phone because I was looking at the Bluetooth first it shows in the WiFi menu under other networks
@@msmoe1006 does your printer have a reset button because on my other one I did that and it worked and just another question is your printer a cannon and did you download the app
I have tried every conceivable method, watched every video I can, and the same thing happens every time I get to the register printer screen. The alarm light pops up and the connection fails. I have connected other devices including a printer before and never had this kind of problem. There is either a bug in the app or a bug in the printer unless somebody can tell me otherwise. The fact that everybody seems to be having the same problem only confirms this.
I follow your instructions press one time stop and long press wifi but it didn't flashing lights for "bottom for trn off". I didn't long press but didn't work again. Is something wrong to my printer?

I'm kind of computer illiterate but if you look under WiFi other it showed cannon printer and at first I was just looking in my Bluetooth section I hope this helps

It is definitely not the same process because this video was not helpful in the slightest. The app look and operate completely differently

It was simply called Canon print for me
When I got to the steps where you select the printer on Wi-Fi it says no internet connection so it cannot find my printer.

You need to make sure your data is off as well and that your only connected to the same wifi as your printer
