Alfred University Holiday Chorus Concert December 7, 2024

The Alfred University Chorus consists of members from the student body, faculty, staff and community members. It is a part of the Performing Arts Department Curriculum at Alfred University.
The chorus is directed by Adjunct Professor of Voice Rebecca Weaver Hamm, who holds a Bachelors from Wittenberg, Masters in Voice Pedagogy (teaching) from The Ohio State University with graduate study at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.
The pianist/accompanist is Dr. Linda Boianova, visiting professor of music at Alfred University 2024-2025 - * Biography posted by the Eastman School of Music: Bulgarian-American musician Linda Boianova is equally at home as a concert pianist, singer, vocal and chamber music coach, opera conductor and concert and jazz band director and arranger. Special interests include Russian romance, music history of the Arabs, Baroque performance using primary sources, world premieres of new compositions, and advanced language studies. (Dr.) Boianova has collaborated with Chick Corea, Barbara Frittoli, Ion Martin, Fondazione Arena di Verona, Deutsche Opera Berlin, and Royal Opera House Muscat and has been on the faculty at Alfred University, Nazareth University, State University of New York at Geneseo, and the court orchestra and chorus of the Sultan of Oman. Linda Boianova holds degrees in Performance, Theory, Vocal Coaching and Stage Direction from the Eastman School of Music.
