parallel compression on dope: 1) a direct wire with its volume fader - keep that strong 2) Klanghelm DC1A3 - around ~8 dB GR 3) TLs 3127 - slamming with ~12 dB GR they work as one rack preset
I got the bundle because of the harmony engine. I've so disciplined myself to use my cubase stock plugins for my mixes yeah! I'm caught in the 1 daw bubble. This is why mixing with presets is not good at times cause it's limiting guess I'll start digging deep to that plugins I already have. Thanks man
Love top see Cato again on this wonderful channel! We finally did an interview with her on my channel hope you like it Warren :) Cato is super wonderful sound engineer and thank you so much Warren for promoting amazing people!
I love some of the features on this. I use similar techniques on vocals. I'm a big fan of sidechaining sub octaves and tube saturation. It gives a full body to vocals. I imagine that's a plug in you would spend hours just seeing what sounds you could get. Also, that mic emulator is gold for budget studio like my own.
Love you Cato. I been using the Mic Mod also . It's my favorite out of all of them . I finally found something that truly changes my SM7B and NT1A sound like night and day for the better. Just the shear size of my vocal sound is incredible with it. Totally worth the subscription price with that alone for me. Appreciate your wisdom. You got mad skills.
Great Thanks. Newbee here, Got my first MIDI - M-Audio Oxygen Pro Mini and researching the included software. I am looking forward to producing my own spin on a few cool tracks music/vocal. YEEEEHAAAOOOOWWWWEEEEE! New Sub here, Cheers from Western Australia
Wow, that really woke up the Vocals, I feel listening to the original now it was a bit lost and un-pronounced in the mix. It was also very appearant that the Auto Tune Unlimited added some bigness and power. Looks like a very useful addition to vocal mixing.
Interesting to get to play with the different mic sounds. I may be sound hallucinating from being up all night, but I thought I heard a Veggie Tales voice in there somewhere towards the end. I should probably go look that up and find out. :)
I think with the talkbox plugin, you're meant to sidechain a carrier signal into the plugin to really get the talkbox effect. Wished you demoed this feature but great video overall!
Great package demo. Love what a few simple manipulations can add to the overall mix. As for myself, I don’t own a copy of Auto-Tune; however, I think I could use Melodyne, which comes bundled with my pro version of Studio One to perform some of the pitch moves demonstrated; but, for some real fun, I like to send vocals to an old TC Helicon Voice Live unit and play around with some of the presets on that and blend that into the mix.
@@Producelikeapro Hi Warren! I received an email today with the big news! I won a two years license of the Autotune Unlimited!! I'm so happy I finally won a giveaway! Thanks for your work and connecting with people!
Listen, anyone that has a hard time with tuning really needs to wake up. It is in EVERY MODERN professional mix. Well not every but way more than most people may think it is. Autotune has a whole different sound besides the tuning sound (T-Pain or Cher) and people like to hear it. I do this for a living and Autotune is on 90% of the mixes I do. Across all genres. It's just a fact. Sometimes it may be set to Chromatic and be turned down low, but it's there.
@@Producelikeapro Thank you Warren! You provide some of the best engineering content that can be found on the platform. Your suggestions are always valid and I learn a ton from you. You are for sure an asset to the community and I recommend MANY people to your classes as well. Thanks again for what you do man.
People need to realise that autotune can't 'create a singer' or hide a lack of singing ability. A bad performance is a bad performance. Tightening up the pitch won't do shit.
I've only just started doing vocal stuff as I've always been a instrumentalist. But my current project requires me to create a voice of a completely androgynous looking and sounding android. So far I've used the Pro E.Q. in Studio One, Waves OVox, Waves Ultra Pitch, and the Leapwig Ultravox. It's getting close, but it's difficult getting the OVox and the dry voice to balance properly where it'll sound equally male and female. Perhaps some of these tools would be useful in solving some of those issues Not sure if I need the whole suite though.
Whoever mixed Cher......we have to find them and punish them for creating auto-tune...LOL. Auto-tune has came a long way and has it's place as an effect instead of a fix-me-quick tool. Cheers
Sorry, I've never been a fan of Autotune or Melodyne at all. I find that it takes all of the raw emotion out of a vocal and too many artists seem to be hiding behind it. If I do any pitch correction, I prefer to do it manually and try to preserve the rawness of the track.
All of the extra Antares tools are a waste of time due to the subscription and the better, more useful alternatives from lots of other, Sound Toys, Fab Filter, Waves, etc.. . Autotune is an absolute necessity on the vocal chain, even if it's just hardly touching the vocals, to make a producers live easier.
