- After a big surge here in the U.S. in the early 2000s, Supermoto fell victim to the economic crash of 2008. But there is a big push once again to bring the sport back, and Husqvarna is introducing the FS 450, a race-ready machine capable of winning right off the showroom floor. We took this beautiful machine and put our own spin on it to get it ready for battle in the AMA Supermoto series.

I still think it's such a shame supermoto took such a decline in the US. I loved to watch the old pro AMA races back in 2005 and 2006 because the series was a bit different compared to what we've been seeing over here in Europe. Tighter tracks, more technical dirt, cool racing overall.
Nice to see they started importing the out of the box supermoto's again the in the US, the FS450 is a very capable bike and a good platform to build on. I still run the '15 model but love it to death.
one very good addition for the front brake system is switching the stock master cylinder out with a brembo RCS14, stock master works alright but the RCS provides a little more feedback and better control.
My teammate bought this exact bike in the video. It somehow ended up here on the East Coast lol. I told him RacerX has I video on it and showed it to him and he was like dang I bought a celebrity!

I've called N-Style and they cannot find the file for this bike anywhere, they have spent weeks looking for it. they have said they can reproduce it for me but was hoping you guys might have it? That's correct! And also why they're not sold in the US. They're imported probably by special demand.
That's incorrect! they are sold here in the US. there is a husqvarna KTM yamaha honda and kawasaki dealer 15 minutes away from me and another 2 husqvarna dealers about 30 minutes away from me in another state. i plan to buy the FS 450 in early spring when the weather gets nice again. its literally about $50 to get it street legal here. all you need is a plate/plateholder, and mirrors. thats here in massachusetts where literally everything is illegal. in most other states, all thats needed is a plate, and plate holder. the plateholder for this bike on amazon is literally $20. so $20 to get it street legal in most states, and here in mass, an extra $35 for the bolt on bar mirrors that go on the insides of the grips, and stay on the underneath of the bars so they dont get in the way of anything. or you can literally just get any mirror and zip tie it on for no money at all.
Maybe I should've looked at husky website haha. Didn't realize that they were sold in the us or had lights stock. Otherwise like you said they basically are legal.
Teddy F yep its super easy.. but no lights stock, but it is super easy to get lights. i think brembo or some other company makes a headlight LED strip that mounts to the top of the handlebars takes like 5 minutes to install, and its only like $40 plus the license plate holder and taillight/breaklight combo comes as one piece and is super easy to install and cheap as well.
good luck in find one at a dealer, I'm number 5 on the waiting list for a 701 SM at the largest dealer in the south east. He's not sure he will get 5 and he has 6 people on the list last time I spoke with them.

I'd like to compare this to the 701 as well…obviously lighter….I have a 701 modded and is is quite nimble itself…and it is an absolute tractor…I ride it on the track…a very tight technical track and on the road in the mountains…leave my buddies 990 super duke in the dust in the mountains….for those wanting a street legal SuMo the 701 is bitchen….

5-speed trans, engine is 1-cylinder, 4-stroke, gear ratio is Secondary - 14:45.
