На аппарате C531dn щуп приходится бросать в момент отклонения стрелки, иначе не срабатывает сброс ошибки, но в целом спасибо за рецепт!

Have a MC 342dn. There was no fuse inside, but two not connected pins in the small 4 pin connector. I put 2 cable inside and shortcut the 2 pins. Assembled everything and start after the motor started I disconnected the shortcut. In the 2nd try it comes error 155. I restarted once again and printer starts working. Afterwards I disassembled the cables, printer works quite normal. Thanks for this guideline. Maybe nice to know, if there is a fuse you bridge, there will be no safety issues. This fuse blow while the fuser gets power for the first time in the printer reset. So blown the fuse is just to detect if the fuser is new the fuse is not needed afterwards in the working status.
Would be great to know if this procedure helps with an OKI MC563db showing error 980 after a paper jam. It's fuser connector also has a small white 4-pin cable. If I understood your correctly you rook two wires and put those in the non-connected pin slots, right?
Привет, такой вопрос. Купил я принтер 332dn. Там стоят стартовые картриджы. Когда черный тонер почал показывать 20%, я купил новый ориг картридж. После его установки счетчик как и надо показал 100% черного тонера. Но потом я вставил старый картридж стартовый чтобы так сказать допечатать остаток (20%). После допечатки, вставляю я тот новый ориг картридж который я покупал а принтер показывает все равно остаток черного тонера 0. И теперь вопрос, я что испортил новый картридж когда его уже вставлял для пробы???
Думаю ДА - испортили. Там по датчикам тонера не все так просто. Фигушки его обманешь...

Hey. Do not connect the wires in any way! There will be a short circuit and the printer will burn! I personally have not tried the digital tester, but they say you can. set to Amps, 250 milliamp Amperes
Thnx for your answer. Is it because you have to fake the resistance that is it the fuser? And if you do this, won't you have to repeat this step several times? I think the printer is still in warranty. So I won't be trying it yet.. but the for the interesting video and comments.
ENGLISH EXPLANATION:
it worked for me!
my fuser didn't have two leads to use, i had to insert two wires into the front connectors lower two spots
i used one set of twisted pair from cat5 cable ~18", used tweezers to make a VERY small loop on the end of the wires and crushed it to make it double thickness and inserted it into the connector and jiggled a bit to get it deeper, taped it down, put the fuser back together, tested continuity to the connector , installed fuser and ran them outside printer, used volt meter on the wires and it read like 17V . it took me two tries but i crossed the wires at startup and then disconnected after about a half second later and it worked to reset drum to "NEW" ! (IT THOUGHT THERE WAS A FUSE AND THEN IT BLEW LIKE IT SHOULD'VE)

Такой же трюк с данной моделью пройдет? и второй вопрос, если можно: детям для школы хочу купить монохромный чб принтер, чтобы не тратить ресурс цветного для многочисленных распечаток для школы. В свое время у меня неплохо отработал и еще до сих пор жив лазерник HP какой-то младшей модели, но про нынешнее качество ничего не знаю. Поскольку вы каждый день сталкиваетесь с принтерами, каково ваше экспертное мнение - какой сейчас оптимальный лазерный чб принтер по стоимости копий (стоимости владения и расходников), бесперебойности работы и надежности? Количество копий - от 100 до 200 в месяц. Заранее спасибо!

Я сделал это по видео, поставил мультиметр на шкалу 20 мА (появилось показание 0,64 мА), на дисплее принтера была ошибка 174, я выключаю и включаю принтер, и возвращается ошибка 980. Мой принтер - OKI C530dn

а цифровым тестером ни прокатит, что хорошо в этих моделях блок печки не интегрирован в принтер.
Сколько стоит видео для исправления ошибки 980 OKI C530DN? Расположение предохранителя в этой модели другое.

interesting, however for me it seems not to work. I have the C531DN. There is no green resistor connected to this four pin connector. There were only the other two pins (from the four pin connector) connected. I managed to solder two wires to those two pins where nothing was connected. When I power up the printer with these two wires connected I end up with the 155 error. When disconnecting the two wires and powering up the printer again I get the 980 error again. What am I doing wrong?

I have dismantled/opened the "OKI 44472603 Fuser Kit" (stove) as you are showing in the video.
There was no fuse/green resistor as seen in your video. I have soldered two wires to these not connected pins (as you have done across the green resistor/fuse).
When I shorten those cables whiles powering up I get the error 155. However, after removing the shortage and re-powering the printer I still get the 980 error.
Do I have to attach permanently this fuse?
I meant: how do you reset the error - tester or fuse solder?
I'm not sure that closing the wires will lead to the desired result. Need to try a tester or a fuse

No solution. I did buy a new Fuser Kid.

@@shetnevdima В заводской печке даже нет металлических контактов в разъёме. Но на плате управления есть дорожка возле разъёма фьюзера на которой можно стать мультиметром на 10А относительно корпуса аппарата и так сбросить печку. Личный опыт.
