There will be a slide wooden or polymer flute with glissandos and flageolets. It will have a huge compass, similar to Vermeulen flute (Vermeulenfluit). It will be called the Irish-looking fretless flute. The holes will be in a channel. It will have musical possibilities and interesting types of music!!!

In the future, the shortest footjoint for the complete flute family in every key and size will be Low A (written A3) and the standard footjoint, if not the longest, will be Very Low C (written C3). These footjoints (Low A, Low G, Low F, Low E, Super Low D, Super Low C etc) will be more common than today. All the footjoints (except for Double Low C Footjoints) will be custom made. There will be even lower and longer footjoints than these.

Because they are so common that it's usually the only member that is shown and/or used in some places. A few examples are TV shows/Movies and Pop music. Plus they are frequently used in some of those. C flutes aren't bad instruments, they just seem to steal the spotlight from the other members, sometimes, even piccolos. Thanks for liking though.

I hope because of the advancement of technology, The Irish flute makers will create the (Alto, Tenor, Baritone (Contralto), Bass, and Contrabass etc) flutes in a serpentine or a traditional flute style with extension to low G footjoints (written G3) made out of 3D printing or Blackwood. They’ll use simple fingerings and ornaments. They’ll have swan neck horizontal embouchures and headjoints. They will be held vertically. Boehm-system versions of these instruments will also be available. The most common of these will be the tenor size (an octave below the normal D flute)!!!! It’ll be innovative!! They will all look similar to serpents in each respective size, but with a low G extension and a flute-style embouchure!!!!! All will be called "Serpent" flutes!!!! There will also be horizontally-held tin whistles, but have a whistle-type embouchure, ranging in size chromatically from High Eb to Bass A!!!!

All the makers and inventors will be happy and proud!!!! Wooden flutes will be regaining more popularity in orchestras, wind bands, marching bands, jazz groups, chamber music etc and more. All these instruments will be in my dream house with amplifiers. All these extensions will be standard at that future time. Chas Hathaway, Doug Tipple, Heritage Music from Canada, Renaissance Flutes, Sandner, Klingson, Basel, Tony Dixon, Schweizerpfeifen, Julio Vasconcelos, Mollenhauer, Medieval Flutes etc made in the four-foot pitch will finally make ("soprano" / high) piccolos/flutes having true soprano quality and range, ("alto") flutes (between piccolo and traditional flute) having true contralto quality and range, ("tenor" / low) standard flutes having true tenor quality and range and so on with written double low C extension (C3).
