From what I read he invested in Castle Rock Entertainment at some point and got some of the Seinfeld syndication revenue stream that way. All the actual cast/crew of Seinfeld seem to be absolutely disgusted by it too, haha.

Exactly! That was the point of the show-They ALL were assholes, which is why they all ended up sentenced to a year in jail in the final episode. Also, in an old interview, Jerry commented on diversity in the cast, stating that he didn't want to make it appear forced that they made it more organic to his actual experience living in NYC on the UWS. There were people of color everywhere, just not always in their immediate friend group. Granted some of the humor back then wasnt politically correct or sensitive and would never work on tv today, but that was the point, they were all narcissistic dicks (especially Elaine... My gawd she might have been the worst human being in the history of television) but still funny af.
