Random fun fact about this whole album: This was Slipknots 3rd album band they did it without ONE curse word due to the critics saying the knot could not make an album without curse words. Well not only did they make it but they ALSO won a Grammy on their song. Before I Forget.
@@deadknight187 True. I don't consider that a curse word. Just like I don't consider Jesus a curse either yet Jimmy Kimmel censored that when they performed it back then.
@@deadknight187 Thanks to slipknot tho every sentence I say has a "fuck" in it. I thanked Corey for that when I met him. He said I was not the only one at all. I believe it. 😆
The miscellaneous sounds usually come from their sampler, Craig Jones, the one with the spiky mask. He also usually teams up with Sid for interesting sounds and samples. Like the man talking in this song was a sample from a news clip I think.
Was so excited to hear guitar solos on this song when the album came out. Mick first, he picks almost all the notes. Then, Jim. He has a more slurry kinda style. Real cool and also fast.
Dude, please do The Nameless (the audio, NOT the live version), Three Nil, and Opium of the People. They're all three from this album and all kick ass!!
Oh please oh please Protest the Hero - Bloodmeat. They are my favorite metal band, yes, over Slipknot. I have seen both bands live twice and although I will concede Slipknot has THE best live show ever Protest the Hero is still my overall favorite. Underrated Canadian band, check em out
