I was privileged to see this incredible lady twice, at Fire Island, Edinburgh, in the early 80's - somebody asked her why she was miming, as we all knew that she had an amazing voice, so she gave the mic a damned good smack,, & instructed the DJ to put the backing track on - there wasn't a single dry eye in the club by the time she had completed her repertoire. One amazing lady xxx.
A great woman with class, charm and intelligence in her simplicity, she had a great career, she spoke multiple languages and knew how to entertain and entertain the public with elegance. I met her many years ago in London and she was a truly simple woman. God, I look at her. his life in heaven R.I.P.🌹
