as an european, it is weird to see no bikes except yours in the street. is it representative of nyc ? only in broadway ?
most folks avoid riding on broadway in the daytime let alone at night.
@@BELTproductioon Broadway runs the entire length of Manhattan. If it is dead like at this time of day it is not a bad way to run the length of the city but is normally too crazy to consider doing this during the day in my opinion. The USA also has a horrific car problem with street parking being the norm in most cities.

Why is he riding without lights at night? He's clearly an experienced cyclist so it's not inexperience and even appears to have lights on his bike during the check at the end? I can imagine the back one might have made filming a challenge, but he also didn't have a front one 🤔

@@gillean2Maybe. I see his hips and lower back swinging a lot. That seems very uncomfortable. My saddle was 3 cm higher than it should be and it made all difference when I fixed it.

False. Wide angle increases the sentation of speed. I should know; I'm a photographer.
50-18, doing around 90-100 rpm i would say like 20-21 mph, not that fast really but also not barely moving ;)
