    There's just something about classical harmony that just gets me super excited! They always give the feeling that the melody is travelling somewhere.

    Favorite neoclassical guitarists: Jason Becker or two of the primordial neoclassical shredders Uli Jon Roth and Michael Schenker (Sorry Mr. Blackmore and Mr. Van Halen). As a whole band it would be Symphony X, though some Malmsteem albums also future stellar line ups, and even good bass playing by Malmsteem himself (now your ships are burned). And his first album has the Awesome Barriemore Barlow on drums. Orquestrating a whole band makes the difference for a neoclassical metal or rock piece.
    Favorite Composers from different eras, not necesarily classical: MUSSORGSKY, Tchaikovsky, Bach, Beethoven, Wagner, Mozart, Liszt, Paganini, Vivaldi, Agustin Barrios Magore, Bartok.
    Beethoven's 3rd movement of the 5th sonata is nothing short of epic and metal.

    Diminished runs also help to build some tension and make solos interesting on short fast bursts of notes. I'll take your tips for some solos I'm composing at this moment.

    Lots of Shreducational information, thank you much!
    Just after 14:00, it says Key of Am. It is in Harmonic minor, which isn't technically a key of the diatonic. Just typing this to possibly alleviate confusion.
    Still super awesome shit though.

      @@ShredmasterScott keep us posted, I'm already a first hour fan. Favourite shreder: Chris Broderick. The reason why he is so intruguing then just straight on riffs bolted on to other riffs, is that he is classicaly schooled (just an example th-cam.com/video/q-ze51lEt3w/w-d-xo.html) and al of these theoretically devices in music, which you also master and show us, is found back in next example (th-cam.com/video/577sva6TkMw/w-d-xo.html) Greets from Belgium

  • @TheRealFrankWizza
    @TheRealFrankWizza 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Now here are some interesting facts about the mastermind which give you an idea of how important it is and how necessary that you embrace this principal and make use of it in attaining success in your chosen occupation
    First of all, it is the principal through which you may borrow and use the education, the experience, the influence and perhaps the capital of other people in carrying out your own plans in life. It is the principle through which you can accomplish in one year more than you could accomplish without it in the lifetime if you depend entirely upon your own efforts for success
    There is no such thing as something for nothing. Everything, including your personal success, has a price that must be paid

    🤔 man... resolution is so weird. I’ve been playing for 20 years and just when i finally think i have my head wrapped around it, i see this victor wooten video speaking on groove and context, and literally playing nothing but notes out of key, and somehow making it sound in key, and it just f**ked my whole world up. Anyway, definitely going to try playing around with some of those scales and resolutions. Thanks shredmaster Scott. 🤘
