    Hello Woody
    Thanks for these clarifications
    please:
Does increasing coil size increase battery consumption?
For example: coil 11 inch with 25 inch or 32 inch...

No, Coils are mostly the same resistance of 0.5 Ohm no matter what the size.

Hello sir. I have watched almost all of your GPX 4500 repair videos. Thank you for all the information. However, I need your help now. Yesterday I was in the field with my GPX 4500, everything was actually going quite well until the device suddenly stopped making any sound. The device still works, everything on the screen is great but no sound. I tested the headphones on another device and it worked. Now to my question: Where is the problem? I've now watched the video with the Chinese battery. Is my battery also defective or is the problem with the mainboard in the device?
Many thanks in advance for your answer and best regards from Turkey.

The problem to me indicated the Mylar connector has failed on the audio.

I was thinking about making a battery for gpx but it seems that there's some audio circuit in it!
And without knowing how that works it's a bit risky
But do you think it's possible to use normal audio amplifier?

Yes, use a linear or class AB amplifier, do not use class D as they generate noise.
